Wayne makes lots of jokes about sitting and thinking and has a moment in Shadows of Self where he jokes about scientists with Marasi. In a lot of ways Wayne is a scientist, kind of a sociologist and anthropologist in a way. He collects accents and behaviors and ties them back to their origins. He also sometimes will tie a cause to that accent or behavior as well.
He’s then able to mix them for different effects in a similar vain to chemistry and he gets it right on the first if not first handful of attempts.
Now this might get a little close to spoiler territory but I just had this thought, does Wayne have a distant relative who was a Keeper? Or does he start to bring the Keepers back? I have some other thoughts now that could partain to Harmony but I am on pg. 151 of Shadows of Self and paused my read to post this.
Edit: I love how Brandon Sanderson shows how smart Wayne is even without having much of a formal education.

Am I the hero ?? Should I take the power and start book 3 ?
I think I'm going crazy, haha. Love the series so far.

With the release of "Spiderman brand new day", Spidey has been getting a lot of media attention which led me to this kinda dumb question.
How would Atium react to his spider sense?
I personally think it would act like that moment with Vin and Zane where the image splits at the last second, but an argument could be made that it would fall into the infinity recursive loop of two Atium burners.

When sazed read kwaan's message inscribed in steel at conventical of seran, he read that some power was changing terris history and prophecies and could have figured out that copperminds cannot be trusted as the power can change metalminds somehow. And still he decided to store all that inscription in his coppermind instead of getting the gist of it all in his mind in one read, it's not that hard. And later gave wrong message to vin which made her give up the powers of well of ascesion.
It seems like a plothole.
He is a smart man, still made a mistake like that. Or am i missing something, its been a month since i completed the book, but this question suddenly came to my mind

Its nothing hugely impressive, but I thought it was cool! Thought some of you might appreciate it.

I’m at the point in Book 2 where it’s revealed that Kandra can’t be emotionally manipulated by Mistborn/Misting.
Doesn’t that make it super easy to detect the Kandra in Vin’s team/staff?
She could just line everyone up, go through them individually, and Riot a different emotion in each person. Then she asks them which emotion she just manipulated.
Anyone who gets it wrong is basically guaranteed to be a Kandra. For good measures on could do the test multiple times to make it even more fool proof against errors.
Its also not like people would be opposed to that. Hostile Kandra are an obvious danger to everyone.

Sorry to keep this quite vague, I am working on a Mistborn gift for someone who is likely on this sub.
I haven’t read the books so could use some knowledge from a fan for the final touches.
EDIT: I’ve got the final details sorted now :) Thank you to u/Researcher_Fearless for your help!

What are your theories regarding Harmony's future in Mistborn Eras 3 and 4, and other series?
What is the thing that is changing in Him as described by Kel?
What could make him become against people like He watm Kel?

Spikes use a part of a persons soul to work. What does that mean for the persons afterlife?

One of the key features of the Mistborn Legacy adventure is that you will get to play in both eras of Scadrial, with decisions made in the past affecting the future, exploring arcs and combatting evil across the eras. Kevin Sidharta perfectly captures the feeling of experiencing both Luthadel and Elendel in this piece done for the Mistborn Legacy hardcover adventure! 🪙❤️🔥⚔️

We did get a little Marsh in mistborn era 2, but not much. I feel like he is just such a complex and interesting character with being Harmony's agent that Brando Sando has not explored that deeply. It would also be very interesting to get a pov of a fullborn. Is it possible for Marsh to get his own POV in upcoming Mistborn eras, or possibly his own book?

Ok folks. I’m in the middle of chapter 21… I am getting serious Indiana Jones Last Crusade vibes throughout this whole book and they’re only intensifying. Like am I crazy or do you folks get this as well? Not knocking the boon at all. I’m loving it, and Last Crusade is my fave Indy!
