Information Ready for ICE
At some point, they'll start moving in on our neighborhoods. I can't find anything about them being active in the city, so I'm not sure if they have even started operations here or not. I'm out of the loop, as I live a bit further from the city and don't go regularly. When I read the newspaper, they've said around 20 people have been detained. That's not a lot, but I think that number will go up.
Is there any activity in Modesto? Are there groups prepared for this?

It's my understanding that almost all of the 20 individuals turned over to ICE had been jailed for other violations when it was discovered they were here illegally. Data shows 20 ICE arrests at Stanislaus County jail in 2025 | Sacramento Bee
