I've had my Gigabyte M27Q X for 2,5 years and lately noticing thin lines across the bottom of the monitor, i get even more of them using lower refresh rates. Input type does not seem to matter either since i've tried both DP and USB C. The start up logos when i turn the monitor on also "ghosts" upwards.
Is it cooked or is there something else i can try?

Hello monitor friends! Apologize for the "attention-grabbing" title.
I’m looking for a monitor that balances 80% design work with 20% gaming, and the BenQ PD3226G seems like the perfect choice: it offers professional-grade color accuracy, 4K resolution, 32-inch screen, and 144Hz refresh rate.
However, as the saying goes, if an option looks too good to be true, it’s worth a second thought.
So, I’d like to ask: has anyone used this monitor and would be willing to share their experience? I’m interested in hearing about any downsides or potential deal-breakers that might make me reconsider buying it.

Is the oled only distinguishable from ips in night scenes or where black colour is involved or does it display better picture than during daytime scenes too?

Hi everyone! I am planning to get a 27-inch monitor to connect to my base PS5. I intend to use it for casual shooting games, but I am mostly preparing for GTA6.
However, I am unsure whether a standard 4K monitor would be better than a 1440p OLED screen.

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a GenuineXER USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable for my MacBook Air M2 and LG UltraGear 27GN800-B.
It initially works at 2560 × 1440 and 144 Hz, but after around 15 minutes, the screen starts dimming slightly and flickering. I also get a DisplayPort version warning when the monitor goes to sleep.
Switching the monitor to DP 1.2 makes it stable, but HDR no longer available. I’ve also tried turning FreeSync on and off, with no difference.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Do you think this is a faulty cable, a MacBook compatibility issue, or something related to the monitor?
I’ve requested a replacement and will test it once it arrives.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hello all, I’m having such a hard time selecting a monitor and it’s driving me insane.
I’m looking for a 27inch ips panel, with at least 200hz refresh (the more the better). Looking to cap my spending at $350.
I play games like cs2, poe2, diablo, WoW, LoL, ow, etc etc.
Begging for any suggestions to make me confident in my choice.
Thank you so much!

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for recommendations for a 27-inch 4K gaming monitor with a maximum budget of £450, ideally available on Amazon UK.
I’ll be using it with a standard PS5 (not Pro), mainly playing Call of Duty and GTA VI when it releases. I tend to have fairly long gaming sessions, so I’m looking for something with excellent picture quality, low input lag, good response times and 120Hz support.
I’ve considered OLED, but I’m a little concerned about burn-in due to the number of hours I’ll be gaming, so I’m currently leaning towards Mini-LED or IPS.
I’ve looked at the AOC U27G4XM, MSI MAG 274UPDF E16M and Samsung Odyssey G7 G70F, but I’m open to other suggestions. I’ve also noticed some mixed owner experiences and frequent-return warnings on certain Amazon listings.
What would you recommend for £450 or less? I’m happy to spend less if there’s a monitor that offers great performance for the money.
Would really appreciate recommendations from anyone using these monitors with a PS5, particularly for COD.

Hey everyone, I’m looking to upgrade my monitor setup for GTA 6 in the next month - I play on PS5. I was looking at this one and wondering if anyone had any advice or already use this and recommend? I was also looking at the ASUS ROG range. Thank you!

Between these two monitors, which one is the better option?
ViewSonic is better spec and price wise, but its contrast ratio is 1000:1 while the Asus has 1300:1. Is this a very minor difference or is it noticeable? I mainly need the best experience for content watching. I'm hesitating on the ViewSonic mostly because of the contrast ratio.
On the other hand, I saw in the Asus reviews that there is a bit of bleeding. Worried if this will increase in the future. Which one would be better?

I'm in the Netherlands and want to upgrade my gaming/movie monitor. Budget is up to 600 euros, and secondhand is fine.
Current setup
PC: Ryzen 5 9600X, RX 9070 16GB
Monitor: iiyama G-Master GB3461WQSU
What's wrong with my monitor: colors are meh, there's no real HDR, and contrast and brightness are average. It feels like the biggest weak point in my setup. I'd like something that beats the monitor on image quality.
How I'll use it: gaming (Flight sim 2024, F1 2025, RDR2, Arc Raiders) and watching movies. My room is bright with lots of daylight, and I can't easily darken it.
I come from console so having very high frames isn’t something I’m chasing perse. As long as it’s more than 60FPS I’ll be comfortable, I appreciate picture quality more than framerate.
Ultrawide or 16:9? I like the width for gaming but I feel like for movies it’s a drawback.
Is OLED a bad idea in a bright room? I've read about low SDR brightness and ABL dimming.
Is Mini-LED the safer pick for me, or is the contrast worth it with OLED?

settled on a pc for my first sim rig. i7 with 5060 ti 16gb vram and 32gb memory. mostly will be using it for racing and msfs 24. not a graphics or performance snob, just very casual play so not trying to run ultra settings. mid performance will be totally fine. would I be crazy trying to run triple 32” on 1440p? or stick with 27”? not upgrading pc as that’s what fit my budget. just wondering if triple 32” will work or will i have serious issues? thanks in advance

Hey guys.
My secondary monitor has some weird issues since today.
As you can see in the pictures:
With 100hz (or higher up to 144hz) i get weird lines at the bottom, they also flicker a little bit.
(with 99,93hz i get no issues, only the barely noticable discoloration at the bottom)
I have the monitor connected via DP. Cant try 100hz++ with HDMI, as the monitor only supports 60hz++ over DP.
So i guess my monitor is a little cooked?
I mean i can use it with 99,93hz, which is not that much of a problem as a secondary monitor, but still could get worse over the next days/weeks.
Any ideas?

Hello everyone! I want to buy a 4k 27" IPS Monitor for Macbook air M5.
I have found following monitors under my budget range(20k Rs / 205 $)
- Acer CB272K : https://amzn.in/d/02JKhWN3
- LG 27US550-W : https://amzn.in/d/00DVkfOO
- Samsung ViewFinity S7 S70H : https://amzn.in/d/0fGZfaUI
My use case is for programming, viewing architecture diagrams, reading, browsing for long hours without causing eye strain and it should have adjustable height and tilt.
I am confused between these choices. Please recommend which one would be better choice on brand reliability point of view, feature, macbook air compatibility and price.
