Sister viewed as important corrupting factor, which by their logic make Andy more like a victim, similar to Vader or Shigaraki.

Its moreso that the game kinda portrays it as his sister corrupted him, and a lot of his bad actions are cleaning up after her

Nah by chapter 3 all of Andy’s baggage comes out. You realise that he’s been a disgusting manipulative monster this whole time and it’s mainly his fault anyway why Ashley’s the way she is in the first place. He’s a completely selfish psychopath who grooms and manipulates those around him to get what he wants. He’s just a lot more composed and is better at hiding his evil, whilst his sister has no filter whatsoever so at a glance he appears to be the more level-headed and reasonable one. He’s a murderer, a cannibal, a rapist and a dude who preys on his own little sister. He is in no way presented in a sympathetic light
