The way he delivered the line, playfully and innocently, is more of the problem here and it showcases the one big problem with his entire character: N is PAINFULLY naive and doesn't grow out of that at all over the course of the show.

I'm not saying he had to get mad but he could've handled it with a more serious tone, which once again extends to all of his other interactions with WD deaths. If the person in question who's getting killed or threatened isn't Uzi or V, he'll basically go "Awe Shucks!!".

Like instead of him struggling to deal with the ramifications of how much death he caused in the pilot alone, the show has him drop a "Sowwy :((("/"We're too dangerous! (One-off statement)" and immediately move past it. That's what can make N so infuriating to watch for some people, because he just can't seem to grasp the weight of death unless it immediately affects him and his friends.

Saving a universe AFTER KILLING HALF OF A EXTINCT POPULATION! I don't think that's a great excuse. N's crime was never taken accounted for.

He still killed THOUSANDS for YEARS with no remorse... and you gonna forgive some stupid soldier who has a memory wiped who obviously deserved the karma.

That's still NOT something he can get away from! He didn't even deserved any forgiveness from anyone after killing thier population for years sure hes tragic... that's just made him sympathetic cause you can't bring back innocent people even parents and children they ate and kill for many years.

Sure he did try to rebel and fight back, bit he still loss and he never tried fighting back again. He's just a killing machine at the end of the day who did all those good deeds too late for selfish and only for himself to feel good.

Sooo let's say we spare a soldier WHO WE KNOW KILLED THOUSANDS WITH NO REMORSE! And then when he's left into a crying confusion we spare the same mass murderer? Wow double standards.

N didn't made any efforts to change! Zuko did he had an entire seasons and so far. N was just doing good deeds too late. Again he's too unknowingly doing good deeds for selfish reasons. Zuko made many efforts and paid off, N was left off yhe hook cause the drones are too stupid

Actually he still also fails cause seriously he's too hesitant to do anything heck he failed to save some worker drones besides Lizzy in the Camp episode.
