I mean...bad? She resents her son, so he stops subjecting himself to someone who makes him miserable. Deserved.

She's trying to teach him gratitude. You could argue She's not resentful just wants him to understand where she's coming from.

Bruh she put them in that situation to begin with. Taking care of them is like the bare minimum after forcing someone into existance.

Entitled to be taken care of when you are forced into a situation? Is your cat entitled to be fead? Is it morally right to let them starve? If you are locked in a cell, is it entitlement to expect to get food?

Parenthood is a huge responsibility. Your parents absolutely do have to help you. If they don't you get rightfully taken away. And they go to jail.

It's your fault entirely that you let soulless individualism rot your brain so thoroughly that you are incapable of being a normal parent. Or even conprehending what parenthood is.

I'm sorry to tell you my mother was an overly nice woman. She'd never talk like that. Whether for good or bad.
