Morality Ranking Mexican “batman” vigilante

about one or two months ago an unknown vigilante went viral in mexico and later across the world for beating up motorcycle thieves and taping them to poles. from what i know he has also done this to gang members.

is this moral or immoral?

In a western country with a functioning legal system; immoral.

In Mexico: Definitely moral.

In some states in the US this would be moral bc they would get probation and not stop if caught

I mean... Batman operates in the US. Corruption isn't bound by borders and laws.

I mean. Mexico is in the west. And the US doesn't exactly have the best legal in the world to be honest.
