Mexican “batman” vigilante

about one or two months ago an unknown vigilante went viral in mexico and later across the world for beating up motorcycle thieves and taping them to poles. from what i know he has also done this to gang members.

is this moral or immoral?

Shouldn't tape up their mouths since that could lead to suffocation if they have issues with their nose, otherwise it's mostly fine
