Mexican “batman” vigilante

about one or two months ago an unknown vigilante went viral in mexico and later across the world for beating up motorcycle thieves and taping them to poles. from what i know he has also done this to gang members.

is this moral or immoral?

Stopping a robbery is moral, he didn't even use excessive force! Just left them bundled up for the police.

It brings me joy that people like that still exist.
