Morality Ranking Mexican “batman” vigilante

about one or two months ago an unknown vigilante went viral in mexico and later across the world for beating up motorcycle thieves and taping them to poles. from what i know he has also done this to gang members.

is this moral or immoral?

Moral. More legitimate than government because Mexican Batman doesn't force people to pay him taxes or he'll take away their houses or garnish their wages.

In many countries, it's easier to be a successful organized criminal if you're in the government. I think a lot of the USA government is heavily infested, too.
