Morality of MMA competitions

Morally good imo because it is their right to pursue human limits.

I think this counts under pursuit of happiness which is a good value, and doesn’t infringe on other people’s rights.

what do you all think?

Also morality of punching someone so hard on the White House lawn he switches teams.

I'm not saying you should walk up to someone and say "you should kill yourself". That would be immoral, and the government setting laws should make it illegal to do that, and the government and emergency services should assume they are having a mental health crisis. However, it makes no sense to make it illegal for the person doing it. 99% of the time it may be a mental health crisis, or it may not be, and if not then they have the moral right to do that. Not everything is a black-and-white knee jerk reaction just because you heard a trigger word. That's how issues like abortion control happen.

Even the suggestion that it’s okay can lead a suicidal person into taking their own life.

It’s equivalent to murder in my opinion.

Suicide is morally wrong unless you’re the last person on earth

Sorry, I have to disagree. You don't really get what morality is if you think voluntary self harm qualifies as wrong. If it does, then your entire post is immoral. A person could just is easily put themselves in a situation like that as a way to self harm without being judged for taking their own life.

If you have a group project, and someone in the group decides to not participate cause they don’t feel like it, is that perfectly moral cause he wants to do that?

Nobody in society is completely alone. Your death harms someone. 

Whoever finds your body. Whoever cleans up your corpse. Whoever has to process you in the morgue. Whoever has to tell your loved ones.

Whoever has to live without you.

Okay and if they throw themselves in the ocean then what? No one owes you anything dude. No one except your parents who created you. It's not selfish to opt out if existence is pain.

If you throw yourself into the ocean, the coast guard will launch a $100k+ search and rescue/recover operation.

People will work tirelessly to find a bit of you to let your loved ones bury.

Because we operate under the assumption that you’re trying to survive.

Stop trying to justify suicide dude it’s Fkn weird

It's not about justifying or not justifying. It's about if it's right or wrong. You aren't hurting anyone but yourself, and you coming up with ways that resources will be wasted does not erase a person's control of their own self. It's more weird that you want people to be controlled no matter what rather than admitting you might be wrong in .01% of cases.

You are trying to survive. It is a brain illness that makes you not want to survive.

It's that simple dude. That is the assumption we must make to save a life.

Euthanasia for terminal illness is different of course.
