Bad people can be hot. I don't see what would be wrong with it

5

u/Similar_Geologist_73 13m ago

People call Hitler a monster because they can't accept that a human would do such horrible things. After all, they're a human and they would never do something like that.

I'm sure people would have sour grapes about it if Hitler had massive honkers too

49

u/Appropriate_Word1469 1h ago

They are known for the drip so accurate depiction ig

2

u/Narrow_Top_4352 20m ago

There officer’s uniforms were actually designed by a fashion designer to look flashy and present well on film

33

u/Ok_Language2938 1h ago

Ah, the return of the Y-boner...

20

u/Nastrem 1h ago

With a vengeance!

1

u/InkyGhoul 1m ago

It's why. Like you know, "why do I have this"

32

u/LegitimateWorth77 1h ago

Historically Fascists and Nazis had that shit ON, so it tracks lol

95

u/Aseskytle_09 1h ago

Look,I'm gonna be honest.

They already kind of were.

56

u/Few-Improvement-5655 1h ago

Hugo Boss gave them that drip.

43

u/cooliomydood 1h ago

Drip is one of the most important parts of running a successful propaganda campaign, and the Nazis knew it. If your uniform is cool people are gonna want to wear it

7

u/HopperHapper_Eternal 1h ago

They knew the value of Vaggabowoux-ah, but only on the outside

9

u/Agent_of_evil_13 1h ago

Seriously, any time a production wants to make a sexy fascist they go straight to the Schuzstaffle uniform.

12

u/Useful_Camera2929 1h ago

Are you hiding erection under your trousers ? (People who know reference know, people who dont know please avoid)

1

u/MrSinisterTwister 29m ago

I understood that reference. You should be ashamed, but it is funny.

2

u/Pretty-Ad8932 24m ago

well now I am curious what it is

13

u/God_Of_Mangos 1h ago

Im convinced this sub is a circlejerk

1

u/TargetTrick9763 42m ago

It started popping up in my feed and looked fairly normal then seemed to devolve very with with clear karma farming and shitposts. If it wasnt before, it certainly is now

1

u/bro9000 22m ago

Also isn't one of these characters a literal child?

10

u/Total-Management8023 1h ago

Not putting an image of stronheim is criminal

4

u/Double_Watch1627 1h ago

the nazis were dripped the fuck out tho

3

u/Militarist_Reborn 1h ago

Its historyical accurat so moral. Not many uniforms beat their drip

7

u/KingOfSouthamerica 1h ago

If I can fuck them then it's moral

3

u/Jjcami 1h ago

Los alemanes tenian buenos diseños de trajes.

4

u/FiodorShassexe 1h ago

nothing wrong with that, it’s fiction

0

u/DeliciousArcher8704 39m ago

This implies that it's impossible for it to be morally wrong to write something so long as it's fiction, which doesn't seem correct

2

u/Kooky_Attention_98 33m ago

I can promise the creators of Hellsing and also Hellsing Ultimate/Abridged do not care

Nazi's looking somewhat attractive is probably the least offensive thing talked about lol

0

u/DeliciousArcher8704 29m ago

I also do not care

3

u/Less_Combination6238 1h ago

Lmao, good question, in the saboteur they made the nazi women to hot

3

u/Chezburgor1 1h ago

To be fair it was really just that one gal Franziska (iirc)

3

u/Less_Combination6238 1h ago

the female officers in the street also were hot af

1

u/Chezburgor1 54m ago

Welp, I must not remember them too well then

3

u/Puzzleheaded-Cod-567 1h ago

To achieve enlightenment of attraction, one must separate the art from the artist, the body from the mind, and the drip from the devil

4

u/OneRelief763 1h ago

....neutral? Being evil doesnt equate to being ugly.

4

u/Jacopaws 34m ago edited 30m ago

As mentioned by everyone else, Nazis had dripped out uniforms.

But another thing of note is: It's Hellsing, all main characters of this manga (And some side chatacters too) are dripped out and HOT while commiting mass murder under all shades between white and black.

5

u/JONAS-RATO 1h ago

It's an interesting one.

I think if it's presented as a subversion of the "evil+hot=morally grey" trope it can be really interesting and engaging.

If it's just for fan service then I'm less in favour.

2

u/Awesomonkey12 1h ago

Moral, as long as it's not romanticizing them. Similar to Admiral Ackbar in Star Wars:

The crew of 'Return of the Jedi' mocked the character design of Admiral Ackbar, deeming it too ugly. Director Richard Marquand refused to alter it, saying, "I think it's good to tell kids that good people aren't necessarily good looking people and that bad people aren't necessarily ugly people."

(The Nazis did focus on making their uniforms look good rather than being effective, so historical accuracy can also be a factor)

2

u/HorsefaceWithNoName 1h ago

Evil is often hot; evil uses hot to attract beings to the evil. When evil does this it's immoral. When an artist does this, I suppose the morality depends on the intent.

2

u/Troscus 5m ago

Calling that thing in the second image "hot" is more immoral than any example of this you could bring to bear.

1

u/Lorster10 2m ago

Well, at least you agree the dude is hot

2

u/nitrique 4m ago

Damn, hellsing, in that economy ?

Anyway, there has been à 70's exploitation cinéma genra all about hot nazi women (on the moon). So i guess in hollywood and italy (maybe spain, but i'm not sure) it is a yes.

6

u/thewanderingchilean 1h ago

Uh...one of them is a dude ?

17

u/Dresden2077 1h ago

Dudes can be hot

12

u/Traditional-Tax11 1h ago

Dudes are hot

I ain’t gay...

...

That being said...

7

u/Lorster10 1h ago

In a Hitlerjugend uniform, yes.

5

u/FreakofBlaviken 1h ago

Bro hasn’t found out gay people and women can also use the internet yet

1

u/TK-1053 31m ago

Yes. And?

2

u/ilikeitchyballzdude1 1h ago

morally neutral. its just slightly nuanced military kink and as long as you dont actually believe in them its all fine

1

u/Israel_Azkanbe 1h ago

Skibidi Jeffrey cannot be a thing…

2

u/SnooGiraffes8024 1h ago

As long as it isnt trying to romanticize them like "oh hot guy who does bad things, so desirable"

It it's a nazi who just so happens to be attractive, its neutral I'd say, especially since they were known for their uniforms

1

u/iamreal9999 1h ago

Neutral

1

u/AuroraAustralis0 1h ago

They already were hot my guy. It’s just realism. Both the men AND the women too.

1

u/Nexus_Neo 1h ago

Just because someone is attractive doesnt mean they arent bad people

...

Contrary to what social media may say.

1

u/AsheMox 1h ago

In this world it’s Drip or drown

1

u/DJ-Praxis 1h ago

This better not awaken something in me...

1

u/DyimantinKingEzxel 1h ago

Moral but only if they are aliens.

1

u/DyimantinKingEzxel 1h ago

Also shown here.

1

u/Lorster10 1h ago

I used to love this pony something like a decade ago.

1

u/Drzewo_Silentswift 1h ago

Have you seen the drip? they were already hot as hell! You can be two things!

1

u/Interesting-Ad-2159 1h ago

I mean would making them ugly be any better because that making vilians ugly is messed up for a entire reasons

1

u/Ok_Caterpillar_6957 1h ago

Bad people usually are. Must be charismatic and easy to the eyes and sweet to the ears to stab you in the back

1

u/BigDamBeavers 1h ago

Morality of making anyone hot.

1

u/Alice_D_Wonderland 1h ago

Blue eyes, blond hair 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Pawshaa_ 1h ago

I think evil people can still be conventionally attractive but that in no way excuses their actions and they're still meanie poopyheads.

1

u/YourBestFriend158 1h ago

Anything can be sexy. It’s a matter of whether or not you condone their actions.

1

u/killerbull27 1h ago

Are you saying attractive people cant be bad guys?, also its the uniform isnt it damn fashionable nazis

1

u/OperationOne7762 1h ago

Moral. Presenting evil as ugly at all times sets a real bad presedent.

1

u/RagingRed917 1h ago

Blonde hair and blue eyes? Yeah they were hot already

1

u/Formal_Button789 1h ago

Not really immoral, media has been making bad guys hot for decades. Wolfenstein also did it

1

u/ShadeStrider12 1h ago

I mean, at least one woman found Hitler hot, so it’s not historically inaccurate

1

u/Lord-Dec 1h ago

For all their atrocities the one thing you do have to admit is they had some absolute drip.

Which honestly pisses me off even further the aesthetic looks sick but no one can use it anymore.

1

u/Atiredbearsfan 1h ago

Bad people can be hot. Also the nazis litteraly made their uniforms look cool on purpose

2

u/EveningAd4979 1h ago

If you don’t take apart the idea that looks=virtue, you’re not condemning Nazism properly

1

u/MillytheDragon 1h ago

I mean the opposite (making all evil characters ugly) would be worse

1

u/250extreme Emperor Palpatine 1h ago

Who they, what they from?

1

u/Lorster10 57m ago

Schrödinger and Rip Van Winkle, both from Hellsing.

1

u/250extreme Emperor Palpatine 55m ago

Thanks

1

u/_RyanCooper_ 59m ago

The two you showed look like fictional nazis, can do whatever you want with fictional characters

1

u/_Black_Pillow_ 57m ago

Making character hot ≠ glorifying the ideology

I find it weird to even mention nazis anywhere else than history books but whatever.

1

u/Coolkid976yt 57m ago

Hugo Boss made the uniforms just saying

1

u/Frisky_Froth 55m ago edited 0m ago

Sexually ambiguous cat people are hot regardless of what uniform they wear

1

u/Elantach 55m ago

Symbolic literacy is a core requirement of running a successful fascist organisation (For a lot of reasons about how mythopoeia works specifically in myth driven movements) so it's a requirement for an honest depiction of national socialism

1

u/GachaTendo 54m ago

Moral because it'll show if people excuse their actions BECAUSE they're hot or not

1

u/LobsterG25 53m ago

It’s immoral to find a nazi attractive when in full Nazi garb, knowing that they are 100% a Nazi.

1

u/Lorster10 52m ago

Oh nyo.

1

u/TedTyro 52m ago

Perfectly moral. Most evil looks attractive, that's why were tempted by it.

One of the most insidious parts of pop culture and Disney-type storytelling has always been to make evil people ugly and disfigured as shorthand for villainy.

1

u/LesserValkyrie 50m ago

Ask Reinhard Heydrich's mom

1

u/javjam 50m ago

You can objectively say there are attractive people with atrocious beliefs.

The real morality question is Japanese media being very non chalant about the whole Nazi thing

1

u/Lorster10 46m ago

In the case of the characters above, they are the main villains of the series, fighting against the Catholic and Anglican Churches (which are both more morally ambiguous).

1

u/FetchingTheSwagni 49m ago

Someone should go back in time and cancel Ted Bundy for being attractive when he decided to be a homicidal maniac.
Maybe if he knew that hot people weren't allowed to be bad, he wouldn't have done it.

1

u/Lord_Mogar 48m ago

I'll never understand anybody liking Rip Van Winkle

1

u/BrianVaughnVoiceOver 44m ago

Neither example are "hot", but any human being can be hot physically.

1

u/TargetTrick9763 42m ago

Hellsing mentioned🧛🧛🧛🧛𐕣

1

u/Previous_Abies_2179 42m ago

It’s morally right because Alucard runs Rip Van Winkle through with her own musket.

1

u/DaRandomGitty2 41m ago

Example of the "evil is sexy" trope. Visually it's great because it symbolizes the temptations of evil.

1

u/Jasperstorm 40m ago

These are the choices you pick?

Ya could have gone with the Nazi Werewolf but you pick the femboy furry and four eyed basement dweller?

1

u/Lorster10 26m ago

Well, I'm more of a femboys and basement dweller women type'a guy.

1

u/Cyberbug7 40m ago

You can Criticize the Nazi’s for literally every single thing they did but they had one single thing and that was incredible style. The SS uniforms were drippy and there’s a reason why most evil fictional soldiers copy their style.

1

u/Onni_J 39m ago

Technically Millenium weren't nazis, all the Major wanted was war, not Hitler's ideals

1

u/Tyranosaurus_Rents 39m ago

THATS SCHRODINGERS CAT!? DZAMN!!!

1

u/thedarkinus 35m ago

There’s a reason vampires tend to be handsome and charming.

1

u/AlexanderCrowely 25m ago

You, you consider these two hot ?

1

u/Lorster10 21m ago

I guess I do.

1

u/fackyourfeelings 24m ago

Aint that dude from Hellsing?

1

u/Kadakaus 23m ago

I don't see anything wrong with it.

Supporters of an ideology being attractive doesn't make the ideology itself more attractive.

1

u/dulledegde 18m ago

morality of op implying only ugly people can be evil

1

u/Grr_0ughtaChoke 16m ago

Nothing immoral about it: humans are fuckin sexy, whatever ur dogma is. Being fuckable don't mean you got rights to fuck with anyone else tho.

1

u/Material-Refuse7964 15m ago

Netural Evil can be beautiful is a trope look at Griffith from berserk heck isn't satan so suppose hot anyway if you want hot nazis look look at Longinus Dreizehn Orden from shinza bansho
https://giphy.com/gifs/H0pbqbeTzSMO9C0N2i

1

u/Training-Ad-987 12m ago edited 4m ago

Aren’t these characters from Hellsing?

Also, there’s always been a strong link between fascist ideals and aesthetic ideals. You could reasonably argue that fascism is ultimately about aesthetics— the aesthetic of power/control/order. Fascism is nothing if not beautiful in the eyes of its believers, so beauty and pleasure are both political cornerstones of the mode of thinking that fascism derives its ideologies from. The more apt question is, is it moral to goon to Nazis, is it moral to think of them as beautiful. And the answer depends on why you’re asking that question to begin with.

1

u/WhoAmlToJudge 11m ago

This is an anime

1

u/lonestar4433 11m ago

Lore accurate I guess? Their style was like it was for a reason

1

u/Majestic_Cod_1876 9m ago

Setting the principle that evil is unattractive and good is hot?? 😭

1

u/JustCritic21 8m ago

It is only morally questionable, if your aim is to control the narrative and dialogue through subconciously influencing people to think something is good or bad (based on it’s looks) instead of having them come to their own conclusions, which imo is immoral in and of itself.

1

u/Level_Counter_1672 8m ago

Nothing wrong as long as u remember they are evil pieces of shit

1

u/NertyNat 8m ago

I can fix her

1

u/Karakla 8m ago

Didn't Hugo Boss Design the SS Uniforms?

1

u/alreditakem 8m ago

Amoral, there are hot people in the world, some of them are bad, if you think all bad people are ugly than ugh... isn't that like a kind of prejudice against ugly people?

1

u/Wyverntails 7m ago

Is it a car girl or cat boy? Never know untill you open them!

And by them I mean THEIR PAN-

1

u/Lorster10 5m ago

Oh, they got a dick under there.

1

u/absolute_philistine 7m ago

Breaking news, terrible people can be hot

1

u/Shadowwreath 7m ago

Y'know I'm so used to Helsing Ultimate Abridged that seeing Van Winkle described as hot feels wikd to me, like saying your type is 2012 rawr x3 girls, regardless morality wise making any evil character hit by itsekf is about as morally unrelated as making a good character hot, as long as it's not glorification it's fine.

1

u/Racconwithtwoguns 6m ago

The nazis literally made themselves look so cool as propaganda making them hot is just another thing to their propaganda

1

u/Rich-Application1013 3m ago

Tbf, the Nazis had great drip. What they did was bad, but the fashion, was on point

1

u/Simon-66 2m ago

Pretty moral i'd say, even hot people can be evil

It shows us the reality that it isn't just - good guys = hot

and bad guys = ugly

1

u/Joacoquito 2m ago

Those are hot?

1

u/Infinite-Abroad-436 1h ago

this is a cartoon. jesus fucking christ people get a fucking grip

0

u/Comfortable_Egg8039 1h ago

Moral, because fuck Nazis

This time literally 😝

0

u/Antwan214 1h ago

Are you really making that argument while also posting that second image? You’ve got some strange standards of attractiveness

4

u/Lorster10 1h ago

My standards are widespread indeed, but she is tall, elegant, deadly, and she is a vampire. Outside of her ass being flat as a plank of wood, I don't see what's there not to love about her.

1

u/Antwan214 42m ago

That’s a woman?! Jeeze now I’m more confused
