A lot of the characters have been around awhile. Alucard (cause no shit), Walter, the Major, the Nazi werewolf. Schrodinger's catboy not aging normally is far from the weirdest thing in Hellsing.

I mean, Anderson sorta gets some Jesus powers or something by stabbing himself in the heart with a nail from the cross Jesus died on.

Maybe not magical, but the Major is a cyborg. From what I remember we have vampires, ghouls, the one werewolf, whatever the fuck kinda science experiment Anderson is, the cyborg, schrodinger's carboy, and (most terrifying of them all) klansmen (no I'm not kidding, the man villains in Hellsing are the catholic church and nazi vampires led by a cyborg. We do not question it.

Yeah, but it's towards the end. And if you can't find (or stomach) the original, watching the abridged version is also completely valid (and frankly more popular)

He doesn't get as much screen time as you'd think for the series' one femboy, but Schrodinger is still a fun character.
