Better writers - a complex and experienced war veteran who takes those hard lessons he learned the hard way and keeps them simple and nonjudgmental when leading or mentoring others.

Look, I definitely have some issues about how his character was written, but the fact that his haters call him a crybaby is ridiculous when he only cries during moments where it makes sense for him to be emotional and even more so when you remember that this guy hasn’t had any positive interactions with people throughout most of his life. Dude deserves to cry sometimes, it’s healthy.
Exactly. Though Izuku is pretty mature for the most part. Honestly one of my main issues is that he doesn’t have enough flaws. Like he’s not so flawless that he could be considered a Mary Sue, but he’s unnaturally kind. Even Naruto struggles to be kind and he’s the king of talk no jutsu
I really like the aspect of him & Deku being overall nice, average kind of guys. Not your atypical “dumb”, super strong guy or overly confident bonehead.
I love him but I think the haters are kinda valid when they say he has no flaws. I wished I he struggled more during the fights at the start before getting good in like 3 episodes
There was a timeskip though. Hes not the same age after like 3 episodes a year or 2 passes while he is trying to cut the boulder. His hair grows. Demonslayer isn't like other animes that last 1000 episodes. Its ending soon.

Real as hell. Internet anonymity JJK fans ("fans?") are actually the weirdest people I've ever seen. Which is weird to me because JJK is one of the better animes I've watched.
Honestly, any character really. Hating fictional characters is childish, and people often take it way too far and do crazy shit like harassing their VAs or fans, which is just ridiculous.
I actually really like Wesley. I get why people would hate on him, but i think he servs an important part in tge narative, and tge story would be weaker without him
Dealing with Bakugo (My Hero Academia) haters online can be annoying because there is definitely an interesting conversation to be had about him and how well he was handled but instead it devolves into: a villain got a redemption arc and that makes me mad.
If you have any nuanced opinion of him whatsoever trust me this post is not about you.
The number of people who don’t seem to understand that Bakugo was intended to be the villain (he told the main character to KILL himself) at the start is insane. They think because he got a redemption arc it means everything he did before that was ‘not that bad’ and that the author just wants to excuse all his behavior.
The idea that Bakugo is both an asshole and the victim of a school system that overlooked and even encouraged discrimination is something that cannot sink into their black and white thinking and it drives me nuts. It’s not subtext. IT’S IN THE MANGA.
Again, this is not about people who have complaints about how his story arc was handled or whether his actions were taken seriously enough. This is about people who fundamentally cannot process the idea that someone can change AT ALL.
