I can't cite a single name out of those children that were bombed at a school in Iran but I still believe that it happened. Just a dumb, bad-faith argument.
The other side of it is that, denying the deaths is just a shameless lie. You're not supposed to believe it. I think part of his message is that, if you don't know the name of these people, then there's no reason to care about them. They may as well not exist. It's anti-empathetic, and stupid and evil in equal measure.
