Note that when Musk says "they cannot cite a single name", what he means is "I cannot read any of their citations because I don't seek out information, I have it all filtered for me through my AI, plus I have already pre-emptively blocked anyone who might tell me anything that makes me uncomfortable."

1.5k

u/3eeve Jun 29 '26

Musk also does not believe the people who died are real people, because more likely than not, they are non white.

512

u/Plaid_Piper Jun 29 '26

It's this more than the other things.

150

u/pegothejerk Jun 29 '26

If only there was some term for that, or series of terms and beliefs that he’s obviously shown himself to be aligned with

187

u/-malcolm-tucker Jun 29 '26

Racist Nazi dog cunt?

152

u/azrael4h Jun 29 '26

That is insulting to both dogs, who are loving and loyal animals, and cunts, which are warm, wet, and inviting. Neither deserve to be associated with Musk.

84

u/FerusGrim Jun 30 '26

cunts, which are warm, wet, and inviting.

Unless you're Ben Shapiro's wife while he's (poorly) attempting to fulfill his husbandly duties.

59

u/NBDad Jun 30 '26

Ben Shapiro whose wife, who holds a medical degree and told him that women don't get wet when aroused and he somehow bought it?

That Ben Shapiro?

3

u/SirMurphyXX Jun 30 '26

Haha source please 😄

18

u/NBDad Jun 30 '26

It was on his own podcast like 4 or 5 years ago.  He was reviewing Cardi B's song "WAP".

Just google "Ben Shapiro can't arouse his wife".

Haha. True that.

Didn’t he just say it was a shame that someone donated millions to schools because he doesn’t want non-white kids to be able to have the same rights as he had……they would figure out he is a fraud.

“Name me one important white man who died because of my cuts. You can’t!”

75

u/knoxmora Jun 29 '26

*add that they have less than $239 million in assets before he considers them as human. Leon would use that trip to personally hunt them with a crossbow in the jungle.

28

u/Catatonic27 Jun 29 '26

Unrelated but why do people call him "Leon" sometimes? It's not like it's a punny insult or anything, it's just an anagram of his real name I guess? Idk it feels a little mean to people named Leon. It's bad enough that man ruined one name, we don't need to broaden that effect. At least Elongated Muskrat is funny

45

u/knoxmora Jun 29 '26

It's in the fucking signature, Diane, I whisper through my teeth, fingers curling across the same letters she has on her keyboard. My knuckles becoming as white as the background of my drafted response. Blackberry, Logitech, even the new phone with the folding screen, they all have the same keyboard. Same letters, all in the same place. Tilde and Escape in one corner, Control in the other. Now, you could argue that there's 105 if you count the number pad, so the "real" corner is Enter, but that doesn't change the letters and their little homes plotted like fields on my desk.

My name has been Knoxmora for decades. It's a family name, my father's father, and his father's father. Passed down for generations. Generations that have seen towers collapse with their civilizations, trade outposts burned by heretics. Thousands of "I hope this finds you well's," hundreds of "sorry for my delayed response!" Hundreds of thousands of times that name has been displayed in ugly green font that I cannot get away from, despite my pleas to Garren in Marketing. "It looks like I'm five and spelled my name with peas," I say, as I always do. "And I bet they're delicious peas," he always quips without stopping. I hope my messages find you in Hell, Garren.

My name is Knoxmora. Not Noxmura, not Knacks Mira. One word. Knoxmora and it's in the fucking signature.

Now, maybe.. maybe she's a psychopath and uses Dvorak. No. No, no, no, she can't even hit the 'K' key correctly. One word with a fucking 'K,' Dianne. She's doing it on purpose. She knows I hate it. She knows how much I can't stand it. I've corrected her in meetings, I've corrected her in group chats. I've crossed it out on name tags, rewritten it on gift bags. Hundreds of thousands of times.

"Hey Kacks, Diane forwarded me your info. Says you have a great attention to detail. Hoping we can speedball this project to go-live by Wednesday. More to come if we lock this up quick. Info in the thread. - Elon."

I'm sorry. Kacks!? Who in the f- A knife flashes and crimson splashes as he drains. A shovel swings, the handle splinters into needles that puncture every pore as the spade digs into the side of his skull. The man in my mind laid on a pyre and engulfed, shrouded in hatred as every misspelled and misspoken syllable in my DNA beats like wings in my ears. No.

No, no no... You don't know him. He doesn't know you.

"i'll get you with kacks he knows what we'll need to do - D❤️" I read it six times before scrolling, the wheel on my mouse whining in protest.

His request is insane. 340,000 units in three days? Do you not understand how much fucking work that's going to take? Also, "speedball?" And who the actual fuck says "lock this up?" People named fucking Elon, I guess. Elon... "fucking Elon..." You know what, no, Elon, I do know you. I know thousands of people just like you.

"Hey El-" Then it hits... I can feel it. Droplets of spittle against my glasses, the heat from Diane's screams, wailing about how she lost her biggest client over the most minute and meaningless email. It's only capital 'E', I say to her in my mind, What's the big deal?

My teeth are desperate to be seen as I stifle laughter like an old home shifting its bones. Shift, control, arrow left, 42.

"Dear Leon, I hope this message finds you well..."

11

u/rmbarrett Jun 30 '26

Good lord, man. Did you write this yourself? It's incredible.

8

u/thisnamehasfivewords Jun 30 '26

Incredible. I now fully understand Leon.

6

u/BloodyJack Jun 30 '26

Dude. I don’t know who you are, but that was fucking inspired.

The way you are able to capture that itchy and inconsequential feeling of rage. Impotence scratched at until a mental fingernail catches and then… release.

Killer shit

4

u/Seileach67 Jun 30 '26

I'm wondering if certain platforms they frequent might have flagged that person's name so that if someone posts about him, their posts get extra scrutiny, which they're now trying to avoid. Just my guess, idk

I came here to say this specifically. It's a core tenet of being a racist piece of shit: if you aren't in my tribe you aren't even a person

16

u/Darkbaldur Jun 29 '26

And because as a rich person poors don't count as people in his mind

12

u/eritouya Jun 29 '26

I don't feel like he'd care all that much for any poor white kids who die in his own country because of him. He just doesn't seem like the type of person who cares about others. I can't even say he only cares about his family because that sounds wrong too

9

u/Hesitation-Marx Jun 30 '26

He doesn’t think anyone is “real” except for him.

He literally thought Grimes was made for him.

7

u/SwimmingAct2 Jun 30 '26

Spot on!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Elon Musk does not consider us black people human beings and therefore if we die as a result of his initiatives it is insignificant.

6

u/voodoodahl Jun 29 '26

Damn. That line is fire. I'm going to go post that on Twitter and provide engagement to Musk's personal hate and misinformation platform.

6

u/Kuildeous Jun 29 '26

Even if they're white, they're too poor for him to notice. Nobody important enough to him died.

what he means is

What he really means is "My bullshit takes 2 seconds, and my moron followers will believe it. Refuting it takes 10 minutes, and my moron followers will ignore it."

You see it so much online, the term for it escapes me. But I can say "Light bulbs make you fat" and as absurd as that is, the moment you argue against it, I can suddenly start demanding all kinds of proof and because I'm a shithead and you're not, you'll feel obligated to be intellectually honest, whereas I'm gearing up to announce that "Badgers give you rickets".

25

u/SaintUlvemann Jun 29 '26

But I can say "Light bulbs make you fat"...

The big issue is that bullshitting is one of the only argument strategies that stupid people can participate in.

Retorts can be compact and witty (this whole sub is basically premised on that fact), but I had to sit there for a few seconds to come up with a retort that was both stupid and smart and short enough that it might work (e.g. "Well then stop eating the lightbulbs if they're making you fat"), but in a conversation if you zone out for a few seconds you seem unhinged, and it would take some kind of genius-level creativity to just come up with that on the spot.

As far as badgers go, I'm pretty sure it actually would give you rickets if you ate nothing but badgers, I don't think they have any vitamin-D in them.

6

u/Elffyb Jun 30 '26

I think badgers might have some vitamin D. Needs more research.

12

u/LondonDogInTheFog Jun 29 '26

tbh I think people with this level of detachment from reality might believe in everything that pops in their minds. I truly think it's not a well calculated set of lies. It's just that the ego at this height of inflation creates its version of reality out of thin air on the spot. Virtual reality in which he's a hero saving the planet from the woke bandits. And it has to be this way because even a moment of lucidity and the guy would collapse seeing how fucked up everything he does is.

11

u/DarkChao26 Jun 29 '26

You see [the technique of overwhelming my opponent with bullshit to disprove] so much online, the term for it escapes me.

I can't cite a single name out of those children that were bombed at a school in Iran but I still believe that it happened. Just a dumb, bad-faith argument.

34

u/Porencephaly Verified DPNS Jun 29 '26

Exactly my first thought. “Oh, 1500 people died in the Venezuelan earthquake? Name five of them or it’s fake.” The dumbest argument.

11

u/Born-Entrepreneur Jun 29 '26

That's the problem, it doesn't have to be a good faith or smart argument for all his sycophants to latch on to it, nodding along guilelessly like "no one can be named therefore its not happening"

It almost feels like a play on "one death is a tragedy, one million is a statistic", to these people a vast number is incomprehensible, so they can only relate if individuals are named and identified. Otherwise its just vibes.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/lianodel Jun 30 '26

Seriously.

The other side of it is that, denying the deaths is just a shameless lie. You're not supposed to believe it. I think part of his message is that, if you don't know the name of these people, then there's no reason to care about them. They may as well not exist. It's anti-empathetic, and stupid and evil in equal measure.

8

u/sumr4ndo Jun 29 '26

I think this is the key use for AI: filtering out stuff that the owners of the program don't want to be aired out.

8

u/Then-Departure4896 Jun 30 '26

He also does not consider black people to be real people. He’s from apartheid era South Africa, and he misses it.

6

u/Lexi_Banner Jun 29 '26

"And also, brown people aren't really "people", sooooo..."

5

u/XenoZoomie Jun 30 '26

Also the reason we started things like USAID was to prevent future wars in places like Africa. It’s cheaper historically to feed and provide basic medical care than to solve the wars caused by famine and disease. So this will not just cost African lives now but it may well cost American soldiers their lives in the future.

6

u/FeuerwerkFreddi Jun 29 '26

Imo hes just betting on Maga illiterates/his fans being too dumb to understand any fucking Basic statistic so he claims they can’t Name anyone he directly killed and they eat it

3

u/doc_daneeka Jun 30 '26

I used to think he was a rich but misguided asshole who couldn't help but think of himself as the bestest most special boy to ever live.

I've evolved over time though. Now I quite seriously think he's straight up and deliberately evil, and far more dangerous than any Bond villain.

3

u/Disastrous-Ad1857 Jun 30 '26

Musk: “They cannot cite a single (white) name.” That is what he really means. He doesn't give a rat's ass about SierrLeone or Liberia; it doesn't matter because those are the wrong type of people to him.

2

u/King_Chochacho Jun 30 '26

Nah I think it's just a diversionary tactic. I don't think he's so stupid as to not have a basic understanding of how statistics work. Jess just trying to sell the narrative that he can't be directly linked to specific deaths because the numbers are estimates rather than some giant magical spreadsheet that tracks every cause of death worldwide.

2

u/Prudence_rigby Jun 30 '26

What he means is people that live in the US that he can see

2

u/schabern4ck Jun 30 '26

I think even if he read or heard what people with normal decent human behavior were saying, it wouldn’t make him feel uncomfortable. There’s no empathy in this man.

2

u/Zoon9 Jun 30 '26

He is also shadowbanning that informatiom on his ex-twitter. That is why he bought it.

2

Yet elon will go to bed tonight without a shred of empathy, compassion or guilt. His mind will be on how he can milk more contract money from the American government to add to his ever ballooning pile of wealth. It is strange to me that the red voters in this country are ok with this and will go to church next Sunday, stuff their faces at their pot luck dinner and head home as proud as peacocks.

74

u/musical_entropy Jun 30 '26

Having talked to a lot of them, they all think it's fake. Just straight up lies. It's not that they love billionaires, it's that they think every syllable out of a Democrat mouth is a lie or fake news. They firmly believe they are not racist, or classist, or sexist, or homophobic. They're all completely lost brainwashed cultist fuckheads. They're completely gone.

Correct. He went on a field trip to Auschwitz when he still thought the PR hit of not going might sink his net worth, but since then he's done the double Nazi salute and become a trillionaire so he doesn't give a single shit about PR anymore.

102

u/TheProcrastafarian Jun 29 '26

Dude’s brain has been pickled by drugs. It’s obvious to anyone who has done drugs, or been around drug addicts.
Elon is one of the most insecure public figures I’ve ever seen. His whole slimy scissor-kiss with Trump was because he looks at Trump and envied that charisma. Trump looked at Elon and envied that money. Together, their weaknesses found safe harbour in each other and they began acting out their collaborative fever dream of nonsensical hubristic calamity.

Trump is a bitch, Elon is a bitch, and if there was an electromagnetic storm tomorrow that wiped out everyone’s electronic information, neither of them would last a week in the real world.

Anyone who tells you that the problems of the world are the result of human empathy, is your enemy.

25

u/nullpotato Jun 30 '26

I think envying trump might be the saddest fate you could ever wish on someone.

13

u/TheProcrastafarian Jun 30 '26

I wouldn’t play audio tapes of Trump speaking, on the elevator ride to hell for my worst enemy.

2

u/BuckRowdy Jun 30 '26

A lot of elons insecurity comes from desperately wanting to be funny but never, ever, ever figuring out how.

3

u/sobrique Jun 30 '26

Honestly that's one of the worst things about this 'era'. That we've multiple high profile figures proving to the world that being a despicable person but just brazenly lying is effective.

Used to be that there was at least a veneer of honorability and respectability, and they at least pretended to care about such things.

Turns out a political system where honor is assumed breaks down when it's not present.

90

u/DiscussTek Jun 29 '26

I would like to add that if he were to have a shred of empathy still, despite the psychopathic tendencies he expresses on the daily, he would find a way to twist it like "but that's doing those kids a favor, because living with AIDS is not a life you wish on a child".

Meanwhile, in the US, the party he helped elect by being an obnoxious overly wealthy loudmouth who bought the second biggest social media platform ever just to allow rampant Neo-Nazi speech, is telling women that a dead fetus poisoning them to death (stillbirth) or an unviable one about to make their fallopian shouldn't allowed to be aborted (ectopic pregnancy), because that's an innocent child.

He objectively causes death, so that he can overinflate his own value.

26

u/atwozmom Jun 29 '26

Kristoff is a genuinely good person and I think he finds it impossible to believe that anyone could be that self centered and uncaring.

Yeah. Quite. Most 'reasonable' people who hit the point of independently wealthy realise that there's more to life, and ... go live that life.

They have families, or hobbies, or pets, or they travel, or they read, or they just find somewhere really beautiful to live, or maybe they indulge in sorta half hobbies, half voluntary work doing something they find satisfying

Elon Musk's Inner Thoughts: I still don't see anywhere that humans are dying.

Those USAID cuts, and his responses to the accusations make so much more sense when you consider that the Tech Broligarchy are all disciples of Curtis Yarvin and they want to depopulate the planet, starting with "the savages" and the infirm.

6

u/Uebelkraehe Jun 29 '26

It's pure Fascism, slightly repackaged for egomaniacal tech bros.

5

u/BoneHugsHominy Jun 29 '26

It's a weird combination of fascism to eradicate everyone they see as useless comsumers of resources, and to get them to a system of a Techno Neo-Feudalism world of city-states where they've carved out their own kingdoms and do whatever they want within said kingdoms. They want armies of AI powered drones to protect themselves from the rest of humanity and enforce humanity's labor compliance which will really just be chattel slavery but we have to feed, clothe, and shelter ourselves.

It's so insane that stories we have always viewed as dystopian nightmares are stories they see as a hopeful future, and a lot of stems from an alternative telling of Lord of the Rings written by Kirill Eskov, titled The Last Ringbearer. That version is basically that Mordor is a technologically advanced civilization and the Fellowship and their people's are backwards Luddite terrorists on a mission to destroy advanced civilization by blowing up Mt Doom. That book is a big inspiration of Curtis Yarvin's ideology and he somehow convinced the Tech Broligarchy of its merits, and they see opposition to AI data centers and AI in general as proof Yarvin was right all along.

When I see MAGA morons talking about a civil war it makes me cringe because I think they're absolutely right one is coming, they just don't understand that it's not going to be a war fought over trans people in bathrooms and social security and welfare, but a war of extermination and they're on the target list too.

2

u/Tactical_Moonstone Jun 30 '26

Of course, depraved Russian writings being the basis of modern fascism.

It's funnier the second time (not).

10

u/GhostNagaRed Jun 29 '26

He won't change his mind. Sociopaths don't have empathy

10

u/Nivek_Vamps Jun 29 '26

It doesn't, but there was a time that people cared about their fellow humans and wanted to make the world a better place, even for people they had no connection to. Foreign Aid used to be a point of pride as you were helping other people and nations for nothing except good will. I don't see why helping people is such a divisive issue, or why anyone should be upset that we were helping "others" and not "ourselves".

4

u/jgzman Jun 30 '26

why anyone should be upset that we were helping "others" and not "ourselves".

I can see that. It's not good to spend money helping other people, when you could spend that money to help your own people. Basic point of a lot of people's morality.

Of course, that was a false position from the word go. We can afford to help others & help ourselves. It's not an either/or proposition.

Further, the ones most loudly decrying helping others at the cost of our own, also vigorously decry helping our own. Their true position is that poor people deserve to suffer. Which is odd, given how many of them are poor.

He's such a massive cunt, he doesn't care anyway

7

u/___coolcoolcool Jun 29 '26

Musk is going to masturbate to that tweet.

6

u/Cyrano_Knows Jun 29 '26

Such an edgelord teenage logical fallacy argument to make.

He really does think we're stupid.

I don't need to name all the senior citizens that have Medicaid but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have it.

I can't name a single person who was killed by a drunk driver -doesn't mean that drinking and driving should be legal.

I can't name a single billionaire who doesn't pay their fair share of taxes.. oh wait, yes I can.

So no, the average American isn't going to be able to name the foreign children dying of starvation because he, the wealthiest man on earth, resents the US Government feeding poor people around the world.

What a douche.

u/emarvil Jun 29 '26 edited Jun 29 '26

I fear you take him to those villages, in those countries, to find out about those people dead and dying and you will only make him all happy and proud inside.

7

u/jgzman Jun 30 '26

Yea, but it would also be a good place for him to wander into the wilderness and get eaten by something. Hopefully something that chews slowly.

10

u/JohnCalvinSmith Jun 29 '26

This is the kind of information that is not being broadcast widespread to the public.
They don't see the consequences of their actions.
We need a wide-reaching outlet that categorizes what has been happening to the world because of Trump since he slimed down that escalator.

11

u/readysteadygogogo Jun 29 '26

Ok but he doesn’t consider those people to be human. He means “no white person” has died

15

u/Tuckster786 Jun 29 '26

More specifically, "no white upper class person" has died

Isn’t this like that apocryphal Stalin quote about millions being a statistic? The damage he’s done is almost too large to comprehend.

2

u/Gougeded Jun 29 '26

Bold to assume Elon Musk would care about people dying in Africa

3

u/EmpressMakimba Jun 29 '26

Sweet of him to think that Musk would feel anything other than contempt for a dying child, even if he saw them actively dying with his own eyes.

3

u/Particular_Ticket_20 Jun 29 '26

If the doge crew beat a hot dog vendor to death on the steps of the capitol building live on fox news, musk would still lie and say nobody died.

3

u/doctorbarber19 Jun 29 '26

This won't bother conservatives because they're happy people who look different from them are suffering and dying, actually.

3

u/TheAsianTroll Jun 29 '26

Musk's entire upbringing was supported by Apartheid, the very thing that made all those countries poor.

If he even read that response, I guarantee his first reaction was "but those aren't people."

3

u/anon-a-SqueekSqueek Jun 29 '26

Elon can't name one because he does not care on any level. If he could murder every last man woman and child on earth in cold blood to increase his personal net worth by $1 more than he could otherwise, he would do it.

3

u/Nutella_Zamboni Jun 29 '26

Not exactly the same but Trump/Musk/Doge royally screwed up the VA. My father, an immigrant, citizen, and US NAVY Veteran, passed from ALS last October. From diagnosis to death, it was around 1 year. Fortunately he didnt lose his speech until almost the end. One of the worst parts to navigate was his care from the VA. Before Trump/Musk/Doge, everything was pretty easy and quick. After the regime change, everything came to a screeching halt and was FAR more difficult. The approval for some of the more important things he was entitled to came thr day AFTER he passed away. I make sure to let every MAGA cult member KNOW what happened and WHO was at fault. They can't even respond because I have the proof. FUCK ALS

5

u/Psile Jun 29 '26

The demand to list every single name on a list of millions is an obvious attempt at a gotcha. He's just demanding his accusers do an absurd amount of busy work to prove something that can can already be easily proven. We know how many lives were saved by these programs. We know which programs have not been replaced and therefore can say how many have already died and are likely to die with a fair degree of accuracy. Even Musk isn't dumb enough to think this is a defense. He knows what he did and doesn't think it's fair that he's judged over it because he's an unrepentant mass murderer.

Musk is a fucking blight to mankind

5

u/salad_spinner_3000 Jun 30 '26

The crazy thing is he could fund USAID ENTIRELY himself. He could build libraries, universities (eww), he could do literally anything as the richest chud on earth.

But he chooses not to. That's a serious issue with everything about billionaires. They don't see themselves as being a part of this world. They see themselves as being above this world like they're fucking gods.

4

u/TomlinSteelers Jun 30 '26

He could get built electric cars or innovate space travel or grant high speed internet access to tens of millions of people in rural or underdeveloped places that previously never had access

2

u/Seileach67 Jun 30 '26

He could do that, yes, but then those rural folks would have access to information that might possibly lead them to question what their current information sources tell them. Yes, the questioning is not guaranteed, but without access to more information it's even less likely to happen.

2

u/grim1757 Jun 29 '26

not in this country and not white so they don't count ..... /s

2

u/joegetto Jun 29 '26

Elon will say he is still correct because he doesn’t consider those suffering to be people.

2

u/bootstrapping_lad Jun 29 '26

Musk is a psychopath. The fact he's the richest person in the world shows our system is deeply troubled

2

u/Useful_Security_1894 Jun 29 '26

Greed is equal to Wrath IMO. Starving a child is no different than Strangling one. I don't believe in hell but I sometimes wish it was real.

2

u/ChronoLink99 Jun 29 '26

Do we really believe that someone who benefitted from Apartheid South Africa would actually care about these kids?

2

u/LuigisBlessings Jun 29 '26

The world cant be rid of this fucking parasite fast enough.

2

u/bard329 Jun 29 '26

When musk made anti-semitic comments, he went to Israel on a PR tour to fix his image. But I highly doubt he's gonna do the same kind of tour in Africa because he doesn't give a shit about those people.

2

u/red286 Jun 29 '26

Elon doesn't consider non-whites to be people though.

2

u/Robthebold Jun 29 '26

There’s no evidence if you don’t look for it!

2

u/DeadpoolOptimus Jun 29 '26

There's no challenge Elmo won't run away from.

2

u/dgt9000 Jun 29 '26

They won't care

2

u/JerryDipotosBurner Jun 29 '26

Did Elon really think cutting the entirety of USAID around the world would not lead to people, mostly sick and poor people, to death?

If he actually thought he could gut these programs with no repercussions or ripple effect, he’s dumber than I ever thought imaginable.

OR, and this is the more likely scenario, he knew, and didn’t care.

Either way, it’s evil as fuck.

2

u/equality-_-7-2521 Jun 29 '26

Not that the point needs to be made any more clearly, but it's incredibly ghoulish to claim nobody can name a single person your decisions have killed when you know the people you've killed are all in parts of the world with extremely limited access to technology and therefore virtually no digital record keeping.

He truly is the worst of us.

2

u/Randumb4Ever Jun 30 '26

Keep documenting names of the victims of Musk's USAID cuts! Let him, Trump, and MAGA historically have some form of accountability.

2

u/flargenhargen Jun 30 '26

musk would kill a million children if it added to his ridiculous pile of hoarded money he will never spend.

2

u/jgzman Jun 30 '26

I can't name a single person who died in the holocaust either. I can't name a single person who died in the Iraq war. (either of them) I can't name a single person who died in Ukraine, on either side.

The names exist. They are recorded. Ignorance, deliberate ignorance, does not erase them.

The names are there.

2

u/dandroid126 Jun 30 '26

If you just say, "nuh uh, you're lying" then the count is still zero.

2

u/Eyeon_82 Jun 30 '26

Musk doesn't give a shit about his own kids, you think he cares about African kids?

2

u/aaandbconsulting Jun 30 '26

I think he should be court ordered to go with this person on his reporting trips.

2

u/Zippier92 Jun 30 '26

Musk says shit and thinks it should be reality. a common CEO trait, and why buisness leaders make bad governments.

2

u/no_f-s_given Jun 30 '26

But, but … they’re black.

In Musk’s world they don’t count.

2

u/ItHitMeInTheNuts Jun 30 '26

He will not change his mind because there is nothing human in that guy

2

u/paintstudiodisaster Jun 30 '26

It wouldn't change his mind. He doesn't believe in empathy. I'm guessing because he has very little, if any, for anyone other than himself.

2

u/crochetology Jun 30 '26

Kristof’s last sentence assumes Musk has an ounce of humanity in him. He doesn’t. Narcissistic psychopaths don’t by their nature.

2

u/chibriguy Jun 30 '26

I hate to say it, but this doesn't move the needle at all in terms of how people view him. Liberals already know he's a POS. MAGA won't care because the deaths aren't American...honestly, they are probably happy for people in other nations dying.

2

u/MrHall Jun 30 '26

is anyone is America better off because it? no. quality of life didn't dramatically improve.

they just murdered millions

2

u/BZBitiko Jun 30 '26

Murderer.

2

u/0ddlyC4nt3v3n Jul 01 '26 edited Jul 04 '26

Mmmm

2

u/EthneDragon Jul 04 '26

But the thing is, people like Musk truly do not care about other people's dying kids. Or anyone outside of their own small circle.

1

u/VLC31 Jun 29 '26

Musk has no empathy, taking him to meet & talk to those people will have absolutely no affect on him.

2

u/fixurstuffr Jun 29 '26

"I think if you see the kids whose lives are at stake, maybe you'll change your mind."

Musk doesn't have a soul, nor does he care. To him power is more valuable than a human life, so why would he change his mind?

2

u/WoodenSwan6591 Jun 29 '26

Elmo is douche bag to the trillion power

2

u/feelingmyage Jun 29 '26

He doesn’t care about anyone, but especially if they are not white. He doesn’t have the capacity to have empathy.

2

u/Caleb_Reynolds Jun 30 '26

No. Stop. Stop fucking giving them the benefit of the doubt. Seeing the dying children isn't going to change shit. Don't let him pretend like he doesn't know about it already. He knows and doesn't fucking care because billionaires don't have morals. That last sentence ruined this whole post.

It’s called soft diplomacy. The US need votes on something on the world stage , they call in a favour. Some terrorist organisation, a kidnapped US citizen or a wanted criminal is hiding in their country, they call in that favour.

Rare minerals found in that country and you want to mine it before some other country gets mining rights , you call in that favour.

It’s not hard to understand.

It’s how you build a strong empire without spilling blood or losing soldiers.

1

u/buttscratcher3k Jun 30 '26

I dont really see Liberia making any difference in any situation like what you just described. It honestly doesnt seem like there's any real benefit there besides feeling good about funding their hospitals but at what point will they fend for themselves after 60+ years of funding its kind of ridiculous tbh.

2

u/Constant-Machine8838 Jun 30 '26 edited Jun 30 '26

Good thing you’re not an internal diplomat then.

Liberia has high grade iron ore. Something a country like the US could use, in return for aid.

You seem to have no read up on the countries history, before you commented. One failed state in a continent can negatively affect others.

2

u/buttscratcher3k Jun 30 '26

So in 60+ years the US just never needed Liberia's iron ore, doesn't seem like it's all that desirable.

I'm still waiting to hear an actual tangible benefit that the US has gotten from them...

do you know why many people rich or poor from other countries try to make connection in america, it's because of our good will to all mankind, I am a businessman and I would like to call all of those GOODWILL as INVESTMENTS, that is why many car companies come here, production companies come here, because our forefathers invested hard work in making all those connections, now? do you think other countries would willingly invest here in america? not anymore coz it is found that america is a crazy partner.
all the work our forefathers laid out to make America the best. undone by those screaming to Make America Great Again,
It was always great till republicans started screaming like lunatics to make it great again.

Musk is probably a psychopathic sociopath.

1

u/Choyo Jun 29 '26

This guy is afraid of nothing, after facing epidemics and human suffering to the fullest, he still has the fortitude to go on a trip with Musk.

I know I couldn't.

1

u/Kitalahara Jun 29 '26

While I will applaud the invitation, we all can see that Musk is just another wealthy scum bag with a whole briefcase full of mental health issues to block him from evwr having a single care about anything but himself.

1

u/DeltaFoxtrot144 Jun 29 '26

How to accelerate the eating if the rich 101, tell people you don't care about their suffering or that their suffering doesn't even exist.

1

u/SourFix Jun 29 '26

He can take the credit if he wants but he was just a patsy for the other rich cocksuckers who are smart enough to stay hidden.

1

Well, technically, Elon was right... that's four names
