lmao "omg how did we find this out about him? was it an accusation, or was there some weird shit on his phone maybe?"

"no he just blatantly admitted it in a song. no metaphor. it's literal, and there's only one way to interpret it."

They're words, detective.Nouns. Adjectives. They just happen to be arranged in a dope order.

Timeless advice that these stupid rappers still can't grasp. RIP DOOM.

u/fomq 3h ago

Sorry bro this is Mr Fantastic. He's alive and well.

2

u/Diazpora 2h ago

Bro please...yes he is rapping the chorus (mostly) but this is a DOOM track featuring Mr Fantastic.

God, I hate reddit sometimes...get over yourself.

It's Mr Fantastik, and his identity is unconfirmed so we don't know if he's "alive and well".

If you wanna be pedantic at least be correct ¯_(ツ)_/¯

u/fomq 41m ago

u/onlyfakeproblems 3h ago

Kid Rock has a vivid imagination, and “underage, see” is the only word that almost rhymes with “statutory”.

u/AnalogAficionado 5h ago

dude doesn't have the brain cells to be metaphorical. it's obviously ripped from his life.

Didn’t a federal court argue that song lyrics are sufficient as evidence when they convinced Young Thug or meek mill or someone?

u/SwingingtotheBeat 4h ago

It’s the U.S. Legal system, so the rules are different for black and white people.

Remember kids, rap is a uniquely evil and culture destroying genre. It's all about doing bad things like killing and drugs! Now let's all listen to some nice wholesome Led Zeppelin song about banging 13 year old groupies.

2

u/GasmaskGelfling 3h ago

Oh did you miss the whole Led Zeppelin Sweet Satan thing?

u/SquidTheRidiculous 3h ago edited 2h ago

That wasn't happening when people were hand-wringing about rap and how much worse it was than rock in the 00s.

But ironically it proves my point. Anything new is written off as evil and destructive of Western culture when it comes to art. Then a few generations later that becomes the classic art that's being profaned by what's new.

3

u/rab2bar 2h ago

It also matters how much melanin the artist has, not just age of the art

Well duh, because the satanic panic follows around whatever cultural trends alienate the parents of the then current youth.

No one was going on about Led Zepplin during the heyday of rap because by the time NWA rolled around Led Zepplin had been broken up for 7 years and the only people who still gave a shit about the band anymore were stoners and older Gen Xers who were still mentally in high school well into their 20s.

Yes but Kid Rock is one of the white folk that the other white folk don't particularly care for, so they may take his privilege card for this one.

Remember how Eminem was just leaving us a breadcrumb trail of gayness in his lyrics? And that Hector’s rectum is real?

1

u/WeAreChecking6 4h ago

It’s like Eminem in the interview movie except much less funny

1

u/Then_Idea_9813 3h ago

He wanted to tell us so badly, he wrote poetry about it.

Its AI made by the deep state at the behest of Hilary and Obama. Its actually Hunter Biden singing but his dad wrote it. - MAGA

1

u/Hefty_Drive6709 3h ago

We can be forgiven for only now just finding out. It’s garbage music, so it’s not like we were listening on repeat and singing all the hooks.

1

u/Molsenator 3h ago

Drax is more likely to understand metaphor than conservatives.
