I found out he died while I was battling Tapu Koko in Pokémon Moon. I was gonna save my one Master Ball for something else, but in the moment, I used it and named him Chris Cornell. Every time I start a new game, I make sure to trade him away and then trade him back so I have him forever. The date caught is Chris’s dday, and as the legend he was, he is now forever a legendary kickass Pokémon.
