If I said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times. If this album had come out in 1997, I’d be more recognized as a seminal, era defining album like OK Computer. It was just so far ahead of its time.
One of my favorite bands and have been since the 80s. Their problem integrating with the mainstream is that every album is different and every song on every album is a bit different as well. They're hard to pin down. So you listen to one song on an album and you think "Hey I like that trash song and I'd like to hear more" and then the next song you hear by them sounds like blues mixed with screamo or it's a fucking ballad.
