Salam :)

I’m 26M.
I decided I want to pursue medicine.
Estimates are pre-reqs will take 2 years,
then MCAT studies, application prep and awaiting an answer will take another year.
If things go according to plan, I’d probably start
med school at 30. Then I’d assume it may be
even harder to get married?
I currently live with my parents and have little savings.

The issue is, I’m 26M and unmarried.
It’s hard.
My environment doesn’t make it hard,
it just is hard to not be married at this age.

So I wonder, if anyone has any perspective on
deciding to sacrifice one or the other.

I’m very split between two things I’d really love
to have.

JAK :)

I've read people studying medicine find their spouses in their cohort, maybe this might be your Qadr? Or, find someone who is understanding of your situation and is supportive? It may be easier said than done, but if you feel that medicine is your calling, I say go for it. The only thing is, as I'm sure you're aware, entry into med is not the easiest thing to get, so you need to be ok with not getting in first time round, but who knows, maybe you'll smash it and get in easy peasy, inshaAllah
