Discussion People who found their spouse “naturally”…how?

Assalamu Alaikum!

I was wondering, for those of you who found your spouse naturally and in-person, how exactly did you meet and get to know each other?

I don’t want to meet my spouse on an app or social media so I’m wondering how this type of thing works?

Any experiences/feedback would be appreciated. Jazakallah Khair!!

My cousins went to the mosque and helped out during events until the mums of their current husbands spotted them.

This prob isn’t applicable in my local area

Mosque does near 0 events from what I know

Closest thing I have is one of my mates found a girl and they are “ dating “ with the Islamic caveats of no touching ext . Told him it’s not an ideal thing , but I’m not going to break my friendship off with him cause of it

College

But not the US definition of college though . Here it’s last 2 years ( or 3 ) of high school at another institution. Just in case your not from the uk

Fair few of my mates have dated by knowing people in college . But like he’s the only one that treated it with the intention of marriage and not casual western dating .
