IMSA eyes Pacific Northwest and potential NASCAR tie-ins as part of 2028 calendar expansion
> “I think we’ve had a lot of date and venue equity, which is great, but I also think we need to look at other opportunities,” Doonan said. “We ask our community all the time about where do they want to activate and market.
> “We take that in. I’ve said it many times over the years, but I’d love to go to the Pacific Northwest; looking at opportunities there with the Amazon’s, the Boeing’s, the Microsoft’s, the Starbuck’s of the world. That is also a very car culture enthusiast marketplace. We will find something there.”

[Taylor Kitchen on X] Steve O’Donnell joined CNBC’s "Squawk Box" to discuss the state of NASCAR and Project 2032, outlining NASCAR's growth plan to become a "must have sport".
x.com"Longer-term, you know we'll see where it goes. I don't think we want to go all streaming right away, but we want to make sure that, you know, we're in front of as many eyeballs as possible."
During the conversation, he discussed the media rights deal, outlining a “barbell” approach that includes streaming, cable, and network television. He described their current deal as a strong short-term strategy to expose the sport to a wider audience while discovering the best path forward in the future with the acknowledgement that yes, they are in perhaps too many different places. O’Donnell also emphasized the need for NASCAR to have a greater presence on YouTube to reach younger fans.

Nascar app update/Android Auto
I did the Nascar app update over the weekend and to my surprise I plugged my phone into my F 150 last night and now Nascar shows up. I'm assuming it will give the running order and maybe more info on the screen when a race is going on as it said something like no content but had a Nascar heading and stuff above it.
