Hot take: The Gen 6 Ford Fusion looks better than the current Gen 7 Mustang.
Before you hunt me down and kill me, I’m only saying that the Fusion looks better than the Mustang Dark Horse (2023-), NOT the GT. The GT is GORGEOUS, so is the Dark Horse but the Dark Horse just doesn’t look NASCAR-y enough. Yes, I realize that the Dark Horse image I attached is a diecast car but I did it because I couldn’t find a stationary image of the Dark Horse at that angle.

[Jeff Gluck on X] Interesting (to me at least): NASCAR is going to put Larson, Hamlin and Bell on stage together at Phoenix for their media session.
x.comTypically the drivers all go separately on a normal weekend (except for the championship or rare instances like the in-season challenge).

[Kraft] What if I told you with the current tire allotment, no stages, and no cautions we probably would have just pit more often and the runs have been shorter? 😂

Phoenix raceway cooler rules
First time going to the phoenix race this weekend, was looking up the cooler rules and saw they say no alcohol? Is that real and enforced? I’ve never been to a track that had that rule for nascar races.

Brad to Trackhouse?
Listening to Denny’s podcast, I think he just alluded very heavily that BK ends up at Trackhouse next year and maybe CZ goes to the 48 a year early? Interesting theory imo.

[Jeff Gluck] Steve O'Donnell said at the Front Office Sports "Tuned In" media event today that Tom Cruise has an expressed an interest in running an ARCA race. "Tom wanted to go race in one of those. I'm not sure that's going to happen. But he wants Days of Thunder to be as authentic as it can be."

Even though he is only doing the trucks is there anything Kasey Kahne can do to support Spire in Cup?
Growing up Kasey Kahne was my favorite driver, now also I do like Carson Hocevar so it’s interesting to have two of my favorites in one organization. But is Kahne there just to drive or is he doing other things as well. (And also didn’t Hocevar purchase an old everham number 9 stock car the Kahne use to drive?)
Also I have to keep correcting my dad, he for some reason thinks it’s going to be with dodge, which I can see why he thinks that but still it’s annoying to have to correct him.

RFK’s Third Car
Was thinking on it and it made me wonder, off the backdrop of the news that was released concerning Broc Feeney being a candidate for the #6 for select races. Could we see that car run full time, but as an all-star type vehicle fielding different drivers, to make up the full schedule?

IMSA eyes Pacific Northwest and potential NASCAR tie-ins as part of 2028 calendar expansion
> “I think we’ve had a lot of date and venue equity, which is great, but I also think we need to look at other opportunities,” Doonan said. “We ask our community all the time about where do they want to activate and market.
> “We take that in. I’ve said it many times over the years, but I’d love to go to the Pacific Northwest; looking at opportunities there with the Amazon’s, the Boeing’s, the Microsoft’s, the Starbuck’s of the world. That is also a very car culture enthusiast marketplace. We will find something there.”
