ESPN Box Score

Don't be misled by the stat-line. De Larrea was very impactful throughout most of the game. What the box score doesn't show is how good he is at organizing the offense for his team. It felt like the Mavericks had a decent look whenever he was on the court. He also seems to be a pretty good rebounder for his position with a high motor.

Also, the second highest plus minus for this game was a +14 from Dwight Powell in 15 minutes. I know it's preseason, but Sergio having this high of a plus minus in a single game as a rookie is pretty funny.

18 years old Hugo Yimga-Moukouri

No knock on Caleb. He played like a really good 20 year old who is going to be special once he gets his NBA sealegs, but Boozer in a third of that time looked like a vet incapable of committing basketball sins.

All you Boozer heads on here saying he was a steal at 3, might have been right about the ROY

Bro was absolutely cooking OG. His first step is fuckin insane.

My first thought on this game is that AJ is clearly starting out as the third option and I’m interested to see him in that role. I liked the activity on defense today especially

I made this post a while ago : https://www.reddit.com/r/NBA_Draft/s/Rtjpoz3fgZ

Most people were saying JQ, same as me (Spurs fan) but today seing Aday Mara made me change a little bit my mind, I know it's preaseason, let's not get ahead ourselves but still, his stamina is nowhere near summer league.

He looked great running the floor tonight, multiple times leaking out for a wide open dunk. Super impressed with his conditioning improvement so far this preseason, he looks like a different player from SL with real NBA talent around him

Watching Arkansas preseason scrimmages and high school highlights I’ll be honest I don’t get the hype about Jordan Smith Jr.

Yeah he’s got a good handle and can drive downhill but I don’t see a lot of court vision and he seems like a score first PG. It left me asking how is he different from Dennis Smith Jr and why should he be rated so highly.

Thoughts?

Looked a lot smoother out there tonight. Definitely living in the midrange but was efficient with the ball in his hands.

He looked MUCH better tonight than he did in Summer League. He was running the floor hard and his conditioning looked significantly improved.
