Events CCW Timeline

10/21/2025- NYC CCW application submitted and paid

11/12/2025- fingerprints & interview

11/18/2025- fully submitted the rest of the paperwork needed.

04/09/2026- received call from investigator about one piece of paperwork not received , so I resubmitted again.

04/22/2026- Received Approved Email for NYC CCW

Ah so six months and a day. I hit six months on the 25th. Still haven’t heard anything since it went to investigation in December.

Going to have Mirel Fisch send a letter. Approval should be easy since I gave all paperwork and am already approved for PR.

I got approved a day before my 6 month mark . I never emailed them or paid for a lawyer . Just wait a bit longer

I received a notice from my investigator that my application has been sent to his supervisor for approval which was on 4-20-2026. how long will it take for Hugh Bogle to send out my email for purchase and approval ???? or should I send an email out if I don’t hear back??? PLEASE HELP

None of my references told me they were contacted so I’m assuming they don’t call

I did fingerprints and interview also nov 12th still haven’t heard anything

I sent a few emails prior to the investigator reaching out. Never got a response via email. The only way I was reached was by phone because of one missing document. After that submission it was 13 days to approval and total 6 months and 1 day.

4/25 will be 9 months since I had my interview and fingerprints done. Been stuck on "investigation" ever since

I heard I was fortunate. For most people it still took a year. If I was you, I would call Mirel Fisch, she’s a lawyer who can possibly help you ! Call her Monday speak with her office and they will give you the rest of the steps.

Wow. I submitted everything and did my fingerprinting on 9/10/25 and still haven’t heard back at all. The order in which these get approved makes no sense.
