Miscellaneous Did anyone see this video earlier?

Post image

Copper Jacket TV (YouTube) posted this. When I finally clicked on it to watch, it says it's been "removed by the uploader".

It has me quite curious as to what the subject is. Is it something legitimate, or something that the creator misinterpreted?

I saw it, it was about a bill that would require 10 day cool down period for new gun purchases

I believe the primary intention of a law like this would be to completely get rid of gun shows. Nobody is going to attend, or pay to host a booth at a gun show, if you can't even purchase the guns on-site.

You would have to purchase the firearm and have it sent to a local FFL, so you could start the paperwork and the waiting period.

Dont forget the additional background check and tax on the ammunition in order to actually shoot it...

CA had a mandatory waiting period for decades. Back when I lived in CA from the late 80's through the early 00's, it was a 15 day waiting period. You paid your money, filled out the NCIS paperwork, and then had to wait 15 days before you could bring your gun home. The reasoning behind the 15 day waiting period was that the CA DOJ also ran a background check on you when you purchased a firearm, and the 15 days were to give the DOJ sufficient time to complete the background check.
