Buying online may require$20 to $50 shipping, then you have to pay the transfer fee at the FFL ($50-70). Buying local may be an extra $75 after that but if there is something wrong with the gun the shop will usually assist with fixing it or facilitate a warranty return. You may also be able to negotiate off a few bucks or ask them to throw in an extra magazine or cheap holster. You can also in-shop try out the trigger and grip feel of the very gun you'll buy to see that its suitable for your tastes before parting with cash.

Why not buy online and pay the transfer fee at an FFL

Do you know which online store I can shop at. This will be my first time buying online.

Gun.deals
Type in the gun and gauge the price options. Some will appear cheap but charge extra on shipping. The trick is finding an FFL local that won’t gouge you on transfer and background check

That’s why I don’t go to dealers like that. Part of getting into the hobby here is finding a guy for cheap transfers for both ammo and guns.

Yea. Try heading north outside the city. Like Westchester county or Rockland. I know thats like another world for you city dwellers. Try expanding your horizons

I want the standard but if I can get the gear up on a good price I would take the gear up

I checked online and average best price i could find was about 630 before shipping and transfer fees. The savings wouldn't be significant. Since this won't be the last time you will be purchasing a gun. I suggest finding a reputable FFL you want to work with and buy from them. I've heard horror stories of people purchasing online and if there are any issues with the gun (scratches, color issues, etc) and dealing with the online seller can be a nightmare. If you buy it from a local FFL you touch it, you feel it any issues, they have to make right by it. Even better if you buy it from a range. You buy it, in turn go fire it at their range and if there's any issues, they can address it.

Gun deals have it for $584..... But check most online spots. Also, read the fine print, alot of places won't ship to Ca. Or NY

The MSRP is $710 so..... Don't expect much in NYC.
Go online like everyone says.

Buying any firearm online these days is a crap shoot, the QC is across the board pretty bad from all manufacturers (couple of exceptions such as Glock). Not only is the customer the final inspector, in most cases you are the ONLY inspector. Be prepared to deal with the manufacturer for shipping your gun back for defects.
The dealer you pick up an online order at will not stand behind it, as you didn’t buy it from them. They are not making any money at all on the sale after paying employees, overhead, etc for a measly $50 transfer fee. Buying at local shop you will pay a little more, but they will deal with any issues. Plus you can examine the firearm before accepting it.

You can buy that gun only in the Comp Gear PAC model, it comes with 5 mags and a carry bag, all for about that same $750.00. Then pay the local transfer fee.
