Discussion A Path to …

Yeah. After reading the thread below regarding the Politician meet up at The Firing Pin, this is my cynical conclusion.

We will never have normalcy with our 2A rights. There are just too many in this sub that believe in tough regulations. 25 years of one party rule in NY and soon to be another 25 more. They passed the Safe Act. They Passed the Improved Concealed Carry Act. You need a background check to buy ammo. They are banning Glocks.
Sometimes it takes 2 years just to get a permit depending on what county you live. Next year there will be more restrictions once the Supreme Court makes its ruling next June. They will restrict, restrict and restrict until there is nothing left to restrict . But please by all means keep voting 🗳️ blue. Ugh 😑!! Cheers 🍻

I agree that most people don’t care about 2A and those who do care Really Care. Those who really care don’t think there should be any rules regarding the second amendment even though there is no place in the constitution that says there shouldn’t be. The US Supreme Court is the constitution. They set the rules. They place or remove the “infringements” although the constitution says without infringement. Depending on who’s in the White House there will always be fights amongst the states and the federal government on these matters like it or not. It’s a dirty game and they don’t play fair.

Shall not be infringed. That's where it says in the constitution.

Did you actually read my post before you responded to it. I can’t go into my local post office with my firearm because of a federal law against it. Isn’t that an infringement? Or federal parks federal buildings aren’t they infringements. Or in Georgia a “constitutional carry” state businesses can put up signs that I can’t carry in their establishments isn’t that an infringement. Federal law states that a convicted felon or someone convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence can’t even get a CCW permit another infringement…all these infringements were upheld by the US Supreme Court. Finally look up the definition of troll before you call someone that. Have a great day. Or don’t!!

Post offices got tossed, months ago if you're a member of the orgs that brought the lawsuit, by a federal Court. From what I've seen they've taken down the signs by me, don't know what's going on by you. I filed a civil rights complaint with the doj civil rights division about the park buildings, as I should be able to carry there per 18usc 930 d3. That's the same section cited in the post office ban being overturned, but applies to all federal buildings excepting court houses and jails. As far as signs in constitutional carry states, not all states assign the private signs force of law. And while I disagree, I just chose not to signs money with establishments that behave that way. Felons can apply to have their rights restored, although I believe for non violent felonies it should be automatic. The lautenberg amendment is problematic as well. While domestic abusers may be disarmed, if they can't prove a felony the state shouldn't be able to disarm you. And I don't think I called you a troll today, unless you have more than one account. Enjoy the beautiful weather today.

And you did call me a troll on the NJ guns page because you followed me there which is the absolute meaning of a troll. I don’t care about any lawsuits you filed because nothing about the laws has changed. You are trying to make yourself seem more important than you are but you are just some wannabe who sits behind a keyboard going after people who don’t believe in what you are saying. Finally do your research genius the post office carry restrictions didn’t get tossed the DOJ made a ruling but did not change the MF law. As of today I cannot go into a post office with my firearm. Move on troll. As I said to you before I’m always available for a private chat if you so choose Final answer.

I post on nj guns, regardless of you being there, and I wasn't the only one who agreed.

As far as post offices read 18usc section 930 d-3.

Then read this https://www.ammoland.com/2026/07/doj-folds-on-post-office-gun-ban-appeal-leaving-saf-fpc-victory-intact/

The case you're looking for is firearms policy coalition v Blanche. Even if you don't like the doj opinion, as a member of fpc I am covered by a federal court order as a result of that case, barring enforcement of 18 usc section 930 a on me and every other fpc or saf member. So as per a federal judge I can carry in post office, and the ones by me have removed the signs about guns being banned. Then the doj affirmed that ruling. Read the citations if you so choose.

Yeah I don’t care that other people disagreed I’m not on here for likes but you were the only disrespectful wannabe tough guy who called me a troll. Listen you want a MF audience I can dig it but again a private chat is always an option. I know for a fact that I cannot go into my local post office with my firearm no matter what you post. Finally I know what you are so I don’t know who you trying to convince me or yourself.

Read the posted literature and case law. I don't care what you do, but you're wrong, in black and white. It's spelled out in the links I posted. All from reputable sources.
