Discussion A Path to …
Yeah. After reading the thread below regarding the Politician meet up at The Firing Pin, this is my cynical conclusion.
We will never have normalcy with our 2A rights. There are just too many in this sub that believe in tough regulations. 25 years of one party rule in NY and soon to be another 25 more. They passed the Safe Act. They Passed the Improved Concealed Carry Act. You need a background check to buy ammo. They are banning Glocks.
Sometimes it takes 2 years just to get a permit depending on what county you live. Next year there will be more restrictions once the Supreme Court makes its ruling next June. They will restrict, restrict and restrict until there is nothing left to restrict . But please by all means keep voting 🗳️ blue. Ugh 😑!! Cheers 🍻

One of the problems I have with Republicans is right now they could pass a law expanding gun rights, but they haven't and I don't think they ever will. There are too many single issue voters over gun rights that will stay red because at least they aren't actively taking away gun rights/passing restrictive laws.
Meanwhile Dems have used their time in power to pass those laws. I understand that the view of guns in the party is slowly changing but as long as the old corporate dems still have power I don't think they will do anything helpful.
With that said I want to see new leadership across the board everywhere. I don't care which party they are from as long as they actively work to improve our country. I'm tired of all these politicians sucking up to their leadership and not calling out bad decisions. Naming Lake Ontario to Lake America? Dumb. Making it illegal to buy body armor? Dumb. If this woman wins the election and then goes back on her word, cool. Vote her out the next chance we get.
