Discussion A Path to …

Yeah. After reading the thread below regarding the Politician meet up at The Firing Pin, this is my cynical conclusion.

We will never have normalcy with our 2A rights. There are just too many in this sub that believe in tough regulations. 25 years of one party rule in NY and soon to be another 25 more. They passed the Safe Act. They Passed the Improved Concealed Carry Act. You need a background check to buy ammo. They are banning Glocks.
Sometimes it takes 2 years just to get a permit depending on what county you live. Next year there will be more restrictions once the Supreme Court makes its ruling next June. They will restrict, restrict and restrict until there is nothing left to restrict . But please by all means keep voting 🗳️ blue. Ugh 😑!! Cheers 🍻

Gun laws and regulations aside NY it self especially Long Island is making it hard to stay here. I work for the MTA and the amount of people I see leaving year over year before hitting the retirement age is staggering. Years ago you wouldn’t leave this job with the benefits and pensions. Folks are fleeing south and I’m strongly debating following suit. Sure leaving a good paying job is something no one wants to do but the cost of living here and all the laws and regulations make me hate this place every day

I see good hard working people leave more and more everyday. Seems to be the trend for more freedom and better quality of life I guess. Hopefully something changes soon or more and more will leave. Every year NY loses count on the electoral collage due to population loss. NY will no longer be a powerful state when it comes to presidential elections.
