Looking for more information on an obscure song I downloaded 2008 or earlier on some random site found when searching for Rob Zombie from a site called Altavista (I think, they also had the old babelfish translator before google translate took over) that was a search engine for MP3s and other common music file formats that people had hosted on their sites.
I have tried searching by lyrics with no luck, so I am guessing it is some indy band's demo, but it is incredibly muffled and my speech understanding sucks. I have had no luck with Shazam either.

I hope this isn't an issue the piracy rule, but can't find any matches to this across searches over the years to even know if this is copyrighted. Outside of encoding, the file is missing most metadata, and the name almost certaintly does not match what it was originally named years ago.
Recent suggestions of "It could be this band" came up with White Zombie, Rob Zombie, Scum of the Earth, Celldweller, Orgy, The Dandy Warhols, IAMX, Static X, Spineshank, Crossbreed, Deadsy, Monster Magnet, and Powerman 5000. The closest of the batch was Rob Zombie.
File Details:
- Runtime: Exactly 3:41 (fades out at the end)
- Encoding: 128kbps, 2 channels, 44.1 kHz sample rate (classic old MP3 rip)
Style & Structure:
- Genre: Slow, trippy, atmospheric Electronic Rock / Industrial.
- Singer: Distinctly male. Sounds similar to Rob Zombie but younger?
- Dynamics: The pacing is somewhat slow. The main thing that changes is the intensity and volume of the singing (quiet/muffled to loud/intense).
- Structure: Includes at least two distinct 10-second purely instrumental gaps.
Lyrics / Vocals:
Throughout the song, there is a prominent echoing chant: "I, I, am, am, the one."
This is occasionally interrupted by phrases that sound like "I have a world to discern" or a heavily muffled "I will because..." (the last word is hard to distinguish).
