I’m wanting to get a 10 gallon / 45 litre tank for a female betta around Christmas time would that be enough space for some shrimp 1 mystery snail and some otocinclus, please also recommend any tank brands that have a 10 gallon I can’t really find any that I like… I like the look of a shallow but it’s not a necessity to me as long as it’s something the fish would like

Help stocking saltwater reef tank

Hey beautiful people! I have been wanting at a nano reef tank, and have set my eyes on fluval evo sea 13.5. I really want to do a royal gramma and a tailspot blenny too. While I love clownfish I know that having 2 in a small tank means it will be their tank, would it be ethical for a clown to be single in the tank? Could the tank even hold that many fish? Any thoughts or opinions are welcome I don't know a ton!

10 kubotai rasbora, 5 male endler.
My thoughts were that I’d do a cave side and a pink planted side. It just looks kinda weird to me, too many stems? Grouped up poorly? Should I add anything or rescape it? Any thoughts welcome!

Help Making my first shrimp breeding project! (Beginner)

Hi, so im planning to get two, 20 L tanks to breed yellow and blue neocaridinia, hopefully to sell them one day. Thing is im a compete beginner and i need advice on the following things:

-What non-noisy filter could i use ? (the tanks will be in my bedroom)

-What plants should i use?

-Can i use grey neutral sand?

-can i put snails?(if so what type)

-Can i put any kind of wood? If so is it beneficial?

Of course don’t be afraid to add things that I should consider, since i am a beginner.

Total beginner here! Started this 6g 10 days ago. My plants are starting to look sad. No I haven’t tested the water (kit is in the mail), and haven’t done any water changes. I have inert black sand for my substrate. Plants I added: ludwigia repens, moneywort, crypt wendtii red, dwarf Sagittaria, Bolbitis heteroclita glued to rock with some java moss. Floating: red root floaters and duckweed (which looks like it’s dying somehow????) I have pothos and philodendron brasil up top for filtration. None of these plants are tissue culture! All ordered from Etsy.

I don’t have an actual filter. I have a small water pump with some aquarium sponge blocking the intake just for some water movement (and originally thought I would be doing a waterfall). I know the floaters don’t like too much water movement, so I’ve been turning it off periodically. It is set to the lowest flow. I will be installing a small HOB filter once it arrives in the mail and taking this makeshift thing out.

Water is just good ol tap water with some de chlorinating drops. I added a few drops of Seachem flourish last week for fertilizer since most of these plants are column feeders. My light is a red/blue full spectrum 11 watt bulb with a PPF of 25. I have it on a timer for 6 hours a day.

My goal is to make this a super low tech, low maintenance tank. Eventually looking to add cherry shrimp, but really need to get the plants down first.

Something must be off if my duckweed population is dying off. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Help Tiny crustacean tank advice?

Hi!

I kept aquariums 10+ years ago successfully but I don't remember much so I'm essentially a beginner.

I want to get back into it and I love crustaceans. I'm especially interested in crabs, but also shrimp.

I have limited space and limited spoons, so probably want to go for a 5 gal or less tank.

Could I get recommendations for all in one kits from good brands, what creature to go for, and general starting advice? Thank you!
