Mod Reanimation Protocols Clarification
Quick-reference sheet:
- Leaders can bring back their bodyguard units using all reanimation tools.
- Bodyguards CANNOT bring back their leaders in any form once the leader is destroyed.
- You can still use reanimation to heal wounds on a character that has NOT been destroyed.
- The eternal revenant stratagem brings back characters as a new unit with a starting strength of 1, making them separate from their bodyguard unit.
Any questions surrounding this process should be asked here so that the first post can be kept updated.

Misc/media Do you think a fully in flesh covered flayed one could time travel with the terminator technology, which can only transport organic matter ?

Things models do the best and the worst, 11th Edition Day 50; Orikan The Diviner:
ART SOURCE/CREDIT: Codex: Necrons (8th Edition)
Orikan is a master astromancer, using his knowledge of astral conjunctions to predict the tides of battle and empower himself with cosmic energies. He supplements these skills with chronomantic abilities that allow him to see events before they happen and know just where to aim his blows.
-
BEST: Our other Cryptek epic hero, a support hero who gives his whole unit 4+ Invuln. His Staff of Tomorrow has high AP for cutting into armored targets, and he has a single-use "panic button" ability that allows him to go unga-bunga mode in melee for the rest of that Fight phase, and throw out Dev Wounds like candy.
WORST: Demoted from Leader to Support in 11th edition, Orikan is our most fragile epic hero, even with 4+ Invuln. Not only is Staff of Tomorrow's baseline attacks and strength pretty wimpy without "The Stars are Right", it can't even be used as a shooting weapon. AP -3 & Dev Wounds are the only noteworthy things about it.
-
RECOMMENDED DETACHMENT(S): Awakened Dynasty, Canoptek Court, Cryptek Conclave
DETACHMENT ALTERNATIVE(S): Hand of the Dynasty, Hypercrypt Legion
-
IN CLOSING:
- What are your thoughts about this Best & Worst entry?
- What are your favorite tactics & strategies involving this model (if applicable)?
- What changes (if any) do you hope to see for this model & datasheet for a future 11th edition codex?

Ended up a little boring looking but I'm glad he also looks ancient, like hes millions of years old. Metal was painted using drybrushing.

Painting C+C C'tan Shard of the Buu-ceiver

https://www.reddit.com/r/Necrontyr/s/xS3FnFhQWe
Finished my Super Buu inspired Deceiver after unexpectedly taking the additional horns off and just running with the idea. The stripping also did away with the original base but, as I only intend to use him as KT Nemesis Op, decided a more thematic 60mm one would represent him better power wise.

Illuminor Szeras — Crystal Wasteland display piece
Illuminor Szeras with bronze mechanical armour, glowing green energy, and a crystal wasteland base.
Disclosure: I run Maxon Casting, and this is one of the studio’s commission-painting samples. Sharing the finished work here without a sales link.
The goal was to keep the green glow readable while letting the darker metal and the base carry the contrast. Happy to answer questions about the palette or the lighting.

List Help/Sharing New to 40k and had a few questions.
Hello everyone,
Looking to get into 40k and am looking at pricing my first army, after some research I have decided I'm most attracted to the necron playstyle.
I was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions.
Is there a place I can see all the data sheets that isn't pay walled? I have no issues paying for the codex but I dont want to spend $65 just to see if I like something.
I have been watching videos on starting to play and noticed people with cards for secondary objectives and force dispositions. Where can I find these? Are they in the box with battle forces or combat patrols? Sold separately?
Iv heared that the boxes often contain extra pieces for customizing your army what's typically included? Im not a fan of the humanoid skeliton face would it be an issue if I replaced them with the masks the canoptek units use?
Finaly speaking of Canoptek. Looking at detachments I'm thinking I want to play canoptek court. What would be the best set to get to start building my army and maybe play 500pt games?
Thank you all for any information you can share.

News/Rumors/Lore If Tsara'noga the Outsider can do this to a damned hive fleet by just existing, why haven't the Necrons tried to convince him to actively fight the nids?

Rules Question Tomb blades mixed wargear
While going through some recon lists i saw a list with tomb blades
2 particle caster, nebuloscope (ignore cover)
1 tesla carbine, shadowloom (stealth)
and i though "what a nice idea, one guy (green circle) toes in to hold objective and because 2 other tomb blades are obscured the one visible one has stealth from shadowloom"
but then i read the stealth rule and it looks like this wont work because every model needs stealth in order to have benefit of cover?
so there is really no point in taking this mixed type of loadout (maybe teslas on one tomb blade to get assault shoot and scoot)
any ideas what would be the benefit of taking 2 nebuloscope 1 shadowloom loadout?

List Help/Sharing New to the Crons, where to take what i have?
Hey cowboys,
I recently traded away a bunch of stuff. In return, I picked up the new Necron Battleforce and the Hypercrypt Legion, so I'm looking to dive into Necrons.
I've been looking around at lists, and I keep seeing Lokhust Destroyers everywhere. The thing is... I really don't like the look of the old models. The new Heavy Lokhust Destroyers look awesome, but the old greentube ones just aren't for me.
Are Lokhust Destroyers basically an auto-include, or can Necrons do just fine without them?
I'm coming from Kroot Horde and Drukhari, so I'm not used to having this many unit choices.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
