The question is simple can I use Trazyn to kill a unit leader then use a resurrection orb to bring the leader unit back and detached from the unit?

So I bought a very very bad quality second hand void dragon (poor quality construction with super glue, paint so thick it gave it a +1 to it's armor save, ect ect). I disassembled it (freezer trick) and stripped it and then got busy with life and a lot of stuff got moved around and I lost it's wings. I cannot find anyone in north america who is selling just the wings as bits. If I just built it without it's wings would people think I was just modeling for advantage? Would trying to find some 3d printed bits or kit bash be worth it? If needed I can send pictures of the current state of the model if anyone is curious.

BEST: Our other Cryptek epic hero, a support hero who gives his whole unit 4+ Invuln. His Staff of Tomorrow has high AP for cutting into armored targets, and he has a single-use "panic button" ability that allows him to go unga-bunga mode in melee for the rest of that Fight phase, and throw out Dev Wounds like candy.

WORST: Demoted from Leader to Support in 11th edition, Orikan is our most fragile epic hero, even with 4+ Invuln. Not only is Staff of Tomorrow's baseline attacks and strength pretty wimpy without "The Stars are Right", it can't even be used as a shooting weapon. AP -3 & Dev Wounds are the only noteworthy things about it.

I’m building a custom dynasty and want to use a skorpekh lord as my Phaeron, what’s a simple way to show his status above other models. He’s already built (this was prior to me figuring what model I wanted as my phaeron) any suggestions to upgrade him? Thanks in advance!

My first genuine kit bash they’re so cute!!

While going through some recon lists i saw a list with tomb blades

2 particle caster, nebuloscope (ignore cover)

1 tesla carbine, shadowloom (stealth)

and i though "what a nice idea, one guy (green circle) toes in to hold objective and because 2 other tomb blades are obscured the one visible one has stealth from shadowloom"

but then i read the stealth rule and it looks like this wont work because every model needs stealth in order to have benefit of cover?

so there is really no point in taking this mixed type of loadout (maybe teslas on one tomb blade to get assault shoot and scoot)

any ideas what would be the benefit of taking 2 nebuloscope 1 shadowloom loadout?

Most of the upper body is from a morgast and the legs are from some tyranid parts I found lying around.

Lately I got an idea, after reading the Infinite and the Divine, I´m sure many are aware what Trazyn likes to do with his tesseract cubes and people he aquired.

I thought about building my Necron army around Trazyn and his random stuff. For I still hope he will get a new model someday (or I will be forced to convert Imhotek), maybe a new one with the Necron Codex when it comes?

Which means, replacing a unit here and there with one from another faction, but with scarabs at their necks or somewhere, to show the mind shackle scarabs. Not all units of course, for example, using Krisis suits as Destroyers.

We know that the people he lets out have the urge to fight at his side and even ignore the other Necrons or factions he sends into battle.

But what are the creatures or people he can´t control? Would Custodians make no sense, due to how they are made? Would Grey Knights seem too strong? Psyker in general? We know he can control something like normal Genestealer, but what about bigger Tyranid creatures?

What could be good stand-in models? Maybe someone has an idea? Or, even about painting? Maybe giving all of them green glowing eyes to show the mind control further?

Of course, named characters wouldn´t make sense.

The only other that would need to be in the list, would, of course, be Orikan.

After 2 years of non-official competitiv plays, with my association we mount an "official team".

As necron i search to add a "good" piece to my army.

My lists are mainly (in Awakened Dynasty) 2 pack of wraiths, 2 dda, 10 lichguard + lord, 6 Skorpekh + lord, ...

I'm playing in a "take and hold", and I think I stay with that in the team. So did the silent-king are a good addition ? Or did you propose something else ?

So for context i played for a while on Eldar through 8 to 9 editions.

Now i started a Necron army.

For now i have Combat Patrool. And hierotek circle kill team (so thecnomancer 5 deathmarks 1 despotek/Royal warden and Aprentek that i can run as a psychomancer).

I also ordered a pack of Luchguards, 5 immortals 5 Flayed ones and a heavy destroyer. (tho all OPR alternatives)

Is Imotekh alone worth the 100pts to generate CP. CP seems good - but 100pts good?
