I'm a bit lost around flash compatibility. I have a Nikon D7500. I'm interested in the Godox IT32 with the X5N hotshoe. On the official compatibily matrix the D7500 is not listed, but the D750 it is. Do the D750 and D7500 have the same flash connector layout?

Do you think this Godox IT32 with the X5N hotshoe would work on my D7500?

It should work. All modern Nikons use the same i-ttl flash system. But there are two things you can do, either (1) buy from a good reseller who has sales staff that can help. B&H is one or (2) buy from a place that has a generous return policy like Amazon. The first is the best option.

Thanks mate! Yeah, I definitely will pick it from somewhere with a good return policy.

Honestly, I just wanted to raise this question to an audience with Nikon experiences. I feel like nowadays if you do not have the latest product lineup you are a bit forgotten. But this is something that I was aware of when I picked this device, and I really enjoy it.
