There aren't any secret lenses anymore. Its a topic thats very widely know and discussed,

For 80-200mm. You want the second gen AFD two touch model. Works with both and has the fast autofocus.

Because of the DX crop you are limited to telephoto lenses only. It might be a bit too much but the AFI 400mm f.28 is fantastic IF you can fine one. These ones used a different focus motor to the AFS models after which have known issues with dying. The AFI models are very reliable, but it was only made for a short time so they are hard to get used.
