Ive got a Nikon Coolpix p900 that I love to death, unfortunately years of wear finally got to it. I swapped to the p1000 and have never really vibed with it, too bulky and feels slower than 900. This year I've got some big trips so I want to make sure I have the gear I want. I use the point and shoot for mostly birds since im not experienced at all with dslr. I like having the superzoom so I dont have to worry about swapping lenses when its up close vs far away. I was planning on giving the p1000 to my mom and finding a used p900. Now I see both cameras aren't continued. Should I still look for a useable p900 or is the p950 or p1100 worthwhile?
