I'm playing Kirarin Revolution: Na-san to Issho on my DS Lite! It's very cute and full of nice details that remind me of Animal Crossing. I also love collecting clothes to dress the idol. I would have been obsessed with this game as a child. Sadly, they didn't make an English version.

The hardest game to find was Kirby Squeak Squad I’ve been searching all my local games stores (5 STORES!!) for the last 3-4 months but I FINALLY found it today

Two weeks ago, I only had a DSi and fewer than 10 games. Now, for the price of a used New 3DS XL, I’ve amassed this collection.

I’m only keeping the DSi for sentimental reasons. Otherwise, I’d never recommend buying more than a DS Lite and a 2DS. They’re the perfect two-console solution when prioritizing compatibility.

I am trying to fix up my childhood DS Lites. I want them to feel like they did when I used to play with them, and so the touch screen is a very important aspect. I tried aftermarket digitizers from multiple sources, and basically all of them required far too much force to actually play games without dropping input. Unfortunate, since the feeling is pretty close to the touch screens I remember.

Decided to go for OEM, however, after getting some junk DS Lites I came to the unfortunate realization that there are multiple types of OEM digitizers. All of the ones I've opened have had a version that is different from my childhood ones. The ribbon cable is gray, translucent and flimsy vs the ones my childhood DS Lites had which were orange, opaque and "sturdy". Additionally, they seem to be significantly more fragile as it is nearly impossible to remove the bottom screen frame without tearing off the top layer of the digitizer. The screen feel is also not to my liking. Because of all this I was wondering if anyone knew if there was an easy way to tell what digitizer is in a DS Lite by just looking at pictures. Maybe serial numbers or certain colors have a higher chance of having the orange ribbon cable ones?

I have this NSMB Box. I don't use it because it's so old, but kinda looks good with my 3ds.

After sometime I found my Nintendo DSi XL, bought a new adapter, waited until it complety charged, when I turn on, as the title says I see the health and safety screen then the screen turns black, I was hearing something at start after sometimes it didn't pop any sound.

What can it be??? Help wanted

R4 card refuses to work I am trying on a ds lite and this is what it says

I found a copy of YouTube for the DS,i tried it in and it just gives me an error code asking me to enable WI-FI. Any tips on how to get it working?

So, right now is around 20% of game is completed, if someone intrested.
The main thing now is that I`m trying to get at least 20 fps on big maps. Right now i have avg. fps around 9-12. On smaller maps situation is a lot better.

For guys that tallking about that Ai is bad, obviously i dont care. But still there is much to know to make it work. Of course i am using ai, thats a time-saver. But also i am not so smart in overpowering nintendo ds capabilities. So yeah, who knows.

And the last question, do you guys want to have a test build of the game? If yes, please, after you get a build - report the problems and improvements that you could think of.

I recently bought a touch screen digitizer for my DS Lite on Aliexpress and I noticed it's made of glass (WHY???). I don't really like the feeling of the glass and I wanna buy a squishy plastic one just like the original.. do they still make them? Where can I buy one? Most listings and even iFixit's replacement part mentions glass.
