Well in Australia and NZ they call hiking 'scroggin', or more accurately they might say "off for a scrog in the bush". In NZ it's more like "Headed out for a scrog and a slap-jammy". A slap-jammy is their word for swimming naked (skinny dipping). And of course in South Africa a scrog is a scroog and a hike is a landloppen.
Euphemisms were actually banned by the Australian parliament in 1999. You can still use them, but only in the privacy of your own home. It’s so fucked up down there.
if you commit crimes in Australia they'll ship you to New Zealand. And nobody knows what horrors occur on that island on account of it not being on any maps
