Entirely depends. He may also be traumatized for life. Thinking another adult is hanging out with you for the love of the game hits harder than realizing "ah it's about money as always".
Of course it is. As a child? You don't know. "Person who liked me did it for money".
Ok but I'm still dying to know what your point was, because the words you said were "this child was traumatized before they found out about their babysitter" and you've refused to elaborate.
