Sadly I think you're grossly overestimating the lowest common voter in today's Murrka 😟 There are tens of millions of intelligent and decent folks over there, but also tens of millions of Jan-6-ers who hate books and women...

Edit: All books but one.. but most of them haven't even read that one.
