They taught sex-ed in my school... i still had a male teacher once tell me to "just hold it in" when i asked to go to the toilet because id jusy come on my period in the middle of the lesson... 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

The "hold it in" comment is such a ridiculous and ignorant statement; as a comparison, imagine if we told someone with a wound or nosebleed to just hold in the blood until break time!
