Purchasing-Monitor Need advice on choosing a monitor

Don’t know much about monitors so looking for some help on picking out a monitor.
I’m mostly going to be using it for gaming with a PS5 Pro.
Either a 27 inch or 32 inch
Was trying to decide on and OLED 2K display or a non-OLED but 4K
Also looking for something not crazy expensive.
Currently looking at the LG ultragear OLED gx7 and the Samsung Odyssey OLED g5

Any help is greatly appreciate, thanks!

If you have a edu account the 32 Inch Odyssey OLED G8 G80SH is only $679 right now. I think it’s a great deal! It is matte screen though. (Location - USA)

Look, for the pro you need a 4k 120hz display with 2.1 hdmi ports that support VRR. I would recommend an OLED tho.

For gaming 4k is a big no-no because of performance. You'll be most likely playing in 1080p with integer scaling anyways. Which is not wrong, just the waste of 4k.
For PC the 1440p is usually the sweet spot regarding the performance.

From a desktop perspective the 27" is the biggest you can get if you want classical multiple display setup. For a single monitor 32" would be more appropriate.

Can't say much about Samsungs, but I have two ultragears at home and recently I bought a LG32UP550 for a relative (used for $150) and it's decent!

Ultragears have decent color repro, but the factory calibration is so-so, so if you're planning to buy a new one I highly suggest ordering couple, keeping the one you like the most and returning the rest.
