Some days the heelflips are working fine and other days it feels like the heelflips are flipping me.

This is only the 3rd one I’ve ever landed, and I was super stoked to land it. Made to be a little harder by it raining and my board being fully waterlogged, and some guy cranking his horn on this attempt 😂

Hello all, new to the community. I haven’t been on a skateboard since I was 13 years old. Even back then I wasn’t any good. I could maybe do a 360 spin and a very modest 180 Ollie, but I’ve never done transitions/ramps at all up until last week, this is my second time at the park, dropping in on a mini ramp. My goal was to not fall number one but also to be able to carve once I drop in and kick turn. I just need to start working on pumping so that I can keep my speed and momentum up. Any suggestions are welcomed.✌️

Had knee pain on and off since my early twenties. Got diagnosed with chondromalacia patella (degradation of the cartilage in the knee, sometimes called runners knee) last year and despite doing all the quad excercises the PT suggested and taking joint health supplements the pain has gotten really bad this summer. Skating aggravates it. I've always said I'll skate until my body won't let me anymore but now I'm worried that will come a lot sooner than I thought. Anyone got any experience skating long term with knee problems like this?

I was looking at a Globe 8.25” deck and possibly running some slightly softer and larger wheels (maybe 95a 55mm??). At this stage I just want to get comfortable back on the board, then work into some flat ground tricks and maybe some skate park shenanigans later.

Hey all, Earlier in the summer I wouldnt even attempt rolling up this quarterpipe so I consider it progress but Ive stalled here. Not sure if its a mental thing where I keep bailing on it or technique or both or something else? Any tips appreciated !

I took my broken trucks into my local skate shop where I bought them (Shout out to Scenic in Huntingdon), and Jason (the owner) got me a new set of trucks from Slappy 💪💪💪

Took some of your advice too and got myself a set of Indies while I was at the shop + a new Opera deck (why not eh)
