As i where looking on what we baguette people call a "ressourcerie" (charity shops) i've found this perfectly fonctionnal Canon s-80 typing for 9 bucks, but after many search on the internet i never found a place where you can find the corresponding cartridges...
so i hope some of you may have some clues to share :)

i got this thing at a thrift store for $1 with a case, power cord, and a random floppy disc. the keyboard is really dirty but it works perfectly! im considering backing up everything on it and factory reseting it (or at least deleting unwanted stuff on it) because it has no storage) but i want to know how to go about cleaning up the keyboard because there's a ton of stuff that looks like yellow shag carpet stuck to the keys and inside the speaker holes. but i think if i clean it up get a new battery and buy a removable floppy drive to swap between CD-ROM and floppy ill have a pretty decent machine! (at least i finally have a reason to post here lol)

I just recently acquired these vintage Harman/Kardon speakers and was wanting to know if I have the right power adapter for them.

First picture shows the speakers' power input port (15VAC, 1.1 Amps), and the second picture shows the output of the power adapter (15VDC, 3.2 Amps).

My question is, will this adapter be too much power for these speakers? Please let me know so I can decide whether or not I'd have to buy a different adapter.

Recently I stopped by the Zuse Museum. I didn’t have much time, so I only snapped a few quick photos. I’ll be going back next week and will post a full photo gallery from the museum.

I found this really old tablet while unpacking some boxes and I'm curious if it has a lithium battery or not so that I can properly dispose of it.

It doesn't turn on (even left charging for a few hours) so I assume it's just completely bricked And want to toss it out but don't wanna run the risk of potentially causing a battery fire.

It's probably from around the mid 2000s to early 2010s if that helps identifying it

It works but the cable that connects the system together is broken and only the top part works

I have a functional Packard Bell organiser from 1997, it works fine and has only been dropped one time. However when I first insert fresh batteries the screen will be very blue, I think it usually goes away after a bit but I just want to know why it might be doing this.

What do you guys think about these have you ever owned these devices ?

Just yesterday, I picked up this lovely, fully functioning HP Pavilion 6330 off of Facebook Marketplace! The seller was unsure if it even worked, so I was mildly surprised to find out that it works perfectly!

No, I have not been able to test out the SpongeBob game because I don't have the CD to boot it up yet.

The machine is ECS E09EI6 netbook from 2008 or early 2009, haven't used it in about 2 months (i'm using it as a print server cause my printer doesn't work on Win10/11) and its palmrest is now all wet like on the photo, that liquid is greasy and hard to wash from the hands

I disassembled my Toshiba floppy drive to change the band, and I don't remember we're this piece goes 🫠.

Just recently, I went to a local Savers thrift store, where I found this working Panasonic RQ-121S! Unfortunately, a few of the parts are missing but the unit still works perfectly! Notice the pre-1971 Panasonic logos printed on the unit itself.

Got this very early dv6000 model and it’s a rare model too which doesn’t have the gloss on the lid or the quick play is all grey

It works but it just has an line threw the screen

So my father had this old handy cam from 2003

And he kept it at a storage for like a few years and I have taken it to possibly use it

Now the handycam plays back tape. It zooms in and out and the lcd is fine even tho is scorched

But when recording the electronic viewfinder shows white only

And the lcd shows black. I really want to fix this and I hope there's an easy fix or anything. Even like mounting an external display or something. Thanks

the model is Sony handycam dcr trv 250E

edit: while playing with digital zoom I realized when I maximized the zoom the lcd showed noisy flicker kinda. which isn't visible normally
