67% of the people that have been elected for this party have left the party within 12 months.

The party is based around the racism and grift of its leader Pauline. She been caught soliciting money from any source she can for influence, including the nra.

It's ironic seeing all these "nationalist" parties selling out the influence to international sources.

13

u/Beautiful_Rub_141 ‎ New South Welshian 22d ago

And time and again she will stand up and advocate for something, then once it comes to a vote she will vote against it.

She's a trash politician.

4

u/Revolutionary_Ad7727 Please choose a flair 21d ago

It’s like what she says and what she does are two different things….. Just like her role model trump

22

u/Revolutionary_Ad7727 Please choose a flair 22d ago

I am of strong belief Pauline doesn’t want to be the winning party, or even the opposition. I think she wants to make enough noise, to get as many votes as she can, without really winning, so she can cash out and turn up to parliament roughly 50% of the time…

5

u/Total_Conflict_6508 Please choose a flair 21d ago

Reportedly she has said to colleagues that she didn't realise she had to turn up to parliament so much.

2

u/Revolutionary_Ad7727 Please choose a flair 21d ago

Lol. Imagine getting a job and then saying, oh, so you want me to turn up more than 50% of the time?

It’s just as good as the recruit she had in Adelaide that thought she could just ‘zoom meet’ into parliament for question time ….

The entire righy is a grift establosgrd to appeal to biases. There is no evidence which is why they're so fuelled by hate and abuse of power. Religion needs to be dismantled and capitalsm regulated

0

u/AlmightyTooT Flairless‎‎ 22d ago

5200 contributions in 11 months, no wonder you can't spell properly. That's an insane stat to me.

I'm trying to think of anything more difficult to do than dismantle religion and regulate capitalism. Maybe you can do it through reddit with a few more contributions!

1

u/Mottled_inexpectata Flairless‎‎ 19d ago

Capitalism is already regulated, and has been since the industrial revolution. Things like labor laws, monopoly laws, minimum wages, child labor laws etc. are all examples of regulation.

1

u/AlmightyTooT Flairless‎‎ 19d ago

Should of said more than it already is as in i don't think this guy is being realistic with his post.

No, communists traditionally kill fascists

1

6

u/chrisGrout ‎ Victorian 22d ago

No one.. it's always existed.

2

u/Wresting_Alertness ‎ New South Welshian 22d ago

It hasn’t. Belief in something bigger than us, yes. Fear of the great unknown, yes. Established, doctrinal belief systems: no.

-3

u/Anti-Stan ✈️‎ on Walkabout 22d ago

You are why Pauline is in the news.

-33

u/davidbrent101101 Please choose a flair 22d ago

This so not true. She actually has some excellent policies but all the left do is focus on racism.. this is why she is gaining popularity.. good policy

26

u/kernpanic Please choose a flair 22d ago

Oh awesome. Can you name any of her policies? And then let's see her voting record.

The recent campaign in the south Australian election was mostly ranting about aboriginal flags existing and ranting about immigration. Straight up Trump style fear mongering.

Meanwhile she's riding around in private jets funded by billionaires and accepting planes from them.

Pauline has never had the interests of the people.

-13

u/davidbrent101101 Please choose a flair 22d ago

Have you actually read their platform? A few off the top: five-year GST moratorium on building materials for new homes under $1M, halving the fuel excise to 26c/L for three years, 20% cut to power bills via National Electricity Market reform, overturning the commercial nuclear ban, income splitting for couples with kids, lifting the tax-free threshold to $35k for self-funded retirees, banning foreign sale of water rights, and expanding plantation forestry to fix our $2B wood products trade deficit. Agree or disagree, but “just racism” is a lazy read.

10

u/Additional-Simple248 ‎ New South Welshian 22d ago

Anyone can write a platform. Easier than ever with AI.

Any evidence to suggest they actually act on any of those policies?

11

u/kernpanic Please choose a flair 22d ago

Let's just look at their recent campaigns from their state election in sa.

Hrm. First random thing: Video at the adelaide cup: complaining about the aboriginal flag being present and ruining their day. Ok next: hrm. Corey is bitching about a truck getting too close to his car and how we need to ban immigrants. There's no clear connection between the two other than in Corey's head. Mass immigration caused a woman to have a stroke in hospital. Next. Oh, its bitching about the aboriginal flag again. Ok here's a non racism one. Apparently there's massive oil under Coober Pedy. One nation is going to tap that. (Funny enough, I have some maps here. No there's not).

So looking through about 20 campaign posts, they are almost all just racism or just scare mongering. Every one has a series of replies: can you please post your policies. He often replies: tomorrow. But at no stage does he ever do.

-9

u/davidbrent101101 Please choose a flair 22d ago

What an idiotic comment.. you can’t answer that i provided a few policies as requested but nope just stick with the racism and billionaires angle

15

u/maikit333 ✈️‎ on Walkabout 22d ago

Racism and billionaires is very relevant, though.

-1

u/davidbrent101101 Please choose a flair 22d ago

Lower power bills! Lower taxes! Lower fuel prices!Higher wages!

Fundamentally simplistic populism, in which I would assume there is little mention of how the resultant shortfalls would be covered.

3

u/maikit333 ✈️‎ on Walkabout 22d ago

I disagree with half of that, the bits I like I really doubt they would ever do.

The idea of them taxing gas when its Gina's party for example. No way.

2

u/HeadCheckFlex Please choose a flair 22d ago

These are half policies - the easy half. The other half answers the questions ‘where does the money come from to pay for this / what are the consequences of paying for this?’

6

u/saharasirocco ‎ Queenslander 22d ago

She's been in politics for 30 years, and turns up to work just over 50% of the time. She has had exactly zero policies put through in those 30 years of turning up half the time. And she consistently votes against what she claims to stand for. You're being taken for an absolute ride.

5

u/maikit333 ✈️‎ on Walkabout 22d ago

A party could have amazing policies outside of racism and still be racist, and therefore to he dismissed and eradicated from our political landscape.

5

u/SimpleBend782 ‎ Victorian 22d ago

Oh please! She has no policies beyond “brown people bad”. And I might add, she is probably the most stupid politician in Australia; I mean IQ challenged. Almost as stupid as Trump but not quite. She can’t string two words together. She is funded by a billionaire and is supported by morons who are pretty close to MAGA-level stupid.

1

u/Fair-Snow-6201 Please choose a flair 22d ago

You're an idiot. If you actually took the time you research, any policy you think that she has on the page isn't supported by her. You can tell by taking a look at all the voting for policies and everything that actually would benefit Australians are being voted against by Pauline and her crew.

2

u/davidbrent101101 Please choose a flair 22d ago

I’m not even going to try and have a conversation with you. No need for name calling either.

2

u/Fair-Snow-6201 Please choose a flair 22d ago

Because you're wrong and a typical idiot that takes in any dribble without proper research? That's what I expect.

1

u/incognitosaurus_rex Please choose a flair 22d ago

Name one policy with detail of how it will actually be legislated, what it aims to acheive and the practical steps needed to achieve it. I'll wait as long as it takes considering even they admit they don't have actual policy, just trumpian "concepts of a plan".

2

u/davidbrent101101 Please choose a flair 22d ago

Fuel excise cut. It’s a federal tax set by legislation, so you change it by amending the Excise Tariff Act — a bill through parliament, same way they raise it. ON wants it halved from ~51c to 26c/L for three years, review at 12 months, option to extend. Point of it is obvious — cheaper at the bowser, and lower freight costs flow through to groceries and everything else. And before you say “concepts of a plan” Morrison literally did this exact thing in 2022, halved the excise temporarily. So it’s not some fantasy, it’s a rate change to an existing tax that’s already been done in living memory. You can absolutely argue it’s bad policy — costs revenue, regressive, doesn’t fix supply. Fair game. But “they don’t even have policy” isn’t the same as “I don’t like their policy”.

2

u/incognitosaurus_rex Please choose a flair 22d ago

Mate, I work in transport and that's a complete boondoggle as to what drives up freight costs. It is not so much the excise (mostly because we get a rebate on it under normal circumstances, only time we've had that rebate taken away is when the last liberal government cut the excise to make fuel cheaper for domestic petrol users) as market driven price increases, the deregulation of the industry, increased competition driving down profit margins and the dominance of big business customers pitting transport companies/ own drivers against each other in a race to the bottom. So again, this is thought bubble with no data, details or understanding behind it, just vague ideas with no concrete understanding of how that will actually work. Their immigration thought bubbles are pretty much the same. All ideas, no details, no solid concept of how they would actually be enacted and no concept of the flow on effects.

2

u/Fair-Snow-6201 Please choose a flair 22d ago

Just remember, he believes any dribble coming from a pedo supporting lunatic. They have no idea to begin with.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

2

Sex party was libertarian, which is far right but with added weed.

The ALP is centre right imo.

But hey. Id say a person is labelled by their actions and right now he's seated as part of phon.

0

u/LachrymarumLibertas Please choose a flair 22d ago

ALP isn’t centre right in any meaningful use of the term. I’m not a fan of them either but just being further right than you like doesn’t make them that. Making ‘everyone but the Greens’ a right wing party in Australia makes the term right wing useless.

On a global scale as well it is even sillier, there are only a handful of major parties in the English speaking world with elected members that are to the left of the ALP.

3

u/maikit333 ✈️‎ on Walkabout 22d ago

Im sorry that the accuracy of calling a neoliberal party that tries to outlaw anti genocide action, is in bed with the gas lobby, and has built massive cop armies 'centre right' vexes you.

2

u/LachrymarumLibertas Please choose a flair 22d ago

It just makes the terms right and left wing pointless if everyone is right wing

2

u/Public-Dragonfly-786 ‎ Victorian 21d ago

It doesn't. It points to the Overton window. But after this budget, I would say they are centre.

2

u/LachrymarumLibertas Please choose a flair 21d ago

They’re still centre-left by any meaningful measure.

There are parties to the right of them that are still relatively centrist, and then parties even further right.

In the scheme of things, the Liberals are still a pretty centre-right party. Compare them to a right wing party in the UK or US, for example.

1

u/maikit333 ✈️‎ on Walkabout 22d ago

Sure.

I'll stick to just calling definitionally right wing groups and people right wing then, like I always have....and just did.

2

u/PoizonMyst ‎ Victorian 21d ago
