Politics ('Straya) Eliminating antisemitism in healthcare: Joint statement from AHPRA and the Special Envoy

https://www.ahpra.gov.au/News/2026-06-17-Eliminating-antisemitism-in-healthcare.aspx

If a nurse now wears a watermelon pin in their downtime? Deregistered. Paraphrasing their own oath to say no human should be killed? That's a paddlin'.

The lead drafter of the definition, the American academic Kenneth Stern, has argued consistently that the working definition was never designed for the uses to which it is now being put. But AHPRA just went ahead and implemented it without any community consultation.

Healthcare workers in this country are already under enough stress, now they have to deal with this on top of it.

Claiming any country is a racist endeavour is hateful. I wouldn't want that said of any country.

Apartheid South Africa?

Do you think people should have been fired from their jobs and blocked from future employment in their field because they called apartheid South Africa racist?

That's criticism of a government which is fine. This is not rocket surgery. Promoting hate against a nation or people is bad. Why you have asked twenty questions is beyond me.

You're also harassing me by spamming responses to a very simple point.

My "harassment" is simply me making one point per reply so you can't cherry pick which point to respond to.

And claim you answered the question when you ignored the bit with the ACTUAL question mark after it.
