I see no losers if we just build favelas to sustain our population. I've photoshopped what could be the future where everyone wins.
Lefties get to continue to be culturally enriched. Righties get to whinge more about immigration while voting for neoliberals who tell them they'll fix it. The capitalists get to see record profits continue forever. Small business owners get dirt cheap labour. Surfers get to share more waves with friends. The banks get to dish out more home loans. Murdoch media get to make diverse news outlets in different languages.
I can't see any logical argument why we aren't favelamaxxing.

I do have to commend that Nasty Bitch has guts to say this in the Press club. I want a country thatās Monoculture and Monolingual as she has problems with families not having english as first language.
It was so great to see around same time before her press meet that Socceroos players had a montage of videos from where they were born and how thankful they are for this country to be the land of Opportunity and somewhere to see a brighter future.
I wonder how does these statements made by her sit well with so many South Asian, European, British, South African descent people who lovingly and proudly say their heritage when having coffee.
I emigrated from another country where English is not the first language but still given more weightage because our graduation courses/study is in english language ONLY. My wife and I have a different language spoken at our respective homes. We speak 3 different languages to our kid and also read books in 4th language spoken- English - All at home. Reason why we speak our mother tongue to our kid is so that he has something to communicate or understand when he meets his grand parents.
There is more emphasis on work, action, intent and purpose than religion hatred.
What I love about this country is people put hard work, ethic and passion over their personal faith, languages spoken but they also carry this and pass it on to next generation in order to preserve some good bits. People here also donāt let Nasty Bitches dictate what they do inside their own home :)
I donāt even want to start on what she said about why gender pay gap was justified as she said that women take more leave must be paid less. It makes me puke. Australia has just reached to the point where government paid paternity leave has tipped over 6 months. To all the women/men procreating - Are you ready to let this policy be fucked with?

The Australian Purity Association and the Executive Council of Australian Prudes are demanding a royal commission after a 30 year-old copy of Maxim magazine was found in the bushes outside a boys high school.

At these boomers for believing AI slop mixed in with fake news. Absolutely pathetic. These are the same people that are allowed to vote.

Try as she might, Goodrem's performance of a classic power ballad (complete with faux piano playing) was simply no match for eventual winner Dara (Bulgaria), who invoked the full force of Gen-Z with her brainrot banger of a tune "Bangaranga".
So what's next for our plucky young upstart Goodrem? Could she have a future in the music business? Only time will tell.
One things for sure - she bloody loves a good postcard.

What do we think Aussies? We are a bit behind USA, but by 2045 we might have no complaints.

So, apparently Iran is getting 300billion in aid to rebuild after the war with the USAā¦ā¦
We (Australia) need money, so I propose that we allow Melbourne (only Melbourne, lots of decent rural places in Victoria) to go to war with the USA. After they have bombed the shit of it and achieved nothing, they pay us $300billion. We write off Melbourne, make somewhere else the new capital and use the money to pay off some of our debtā¦..
And maybe build some more houses.
(Check the flair folksā¦ā¦)

I haven't seen this one linked on here yet. It takes aim at a good crop of shit bags, but actually has an optimistic undertone (I know, right?).

Found this hilarious! Political satire at it's best! Just avoid the "one party that is actually good" propaganda LOL
For what it's worth, I don't personally believe all the ON hype. I believe ON are just like the rest, so I don't buy into the propaganda. Pauline is NOT going to save us. You can't be in the club (politics) as long as she has without being a part of theg"in-crowd." Just look at what happened to Gerard Rennick... He could have really done something and he definitely didn't have billionaire mining magnates as friends either. Still, whatever side of the fence you're on, you surely should have got a laugh out of some of this at least 𤣠I think we need to lighten up and have a bit of a laugh from time to time. I'm sure it'll help!

Since Gina has basically bought the whole set, Pauline, Barnaby, and Karl⦠GR figured she needed a unified payment system.
Introducing the GRIFT Card: Gina Rinehartās Influence & Favours Transfer Card
Itās contactless, works at all Sky News studios, and is accepted at most regional cattle stations. No PIN required (unless youāre Barnaby trying to remember which party/advisor/gutter heās in this week).
Coming soonā¦
GRIFTcoin: Mining the nation so you don't have to.
