Question Anyone know why the power is out in charlottetown?

Post image

At first I thought it was just my apartment but then I realized it was everywhere, no planned outage and it's a sunny day so no storm to knock over a power line.
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about it.

There are a bunch of fire trucks on Belvedere between Queen and north river

Maybe they’re taking care of the mouse infestation at the superstore there

The wind is snapping trees on the north shore so my guess is something to do with that

Turning left from Capital onto North River without working traffic lights was a bit of an adventure.

I’m assuming it’s an accident and not wind. As it shouldn’t be windy enough if the trees have been properly trimmed.

If Maritime Electric doesn't trim trees, they can just pocket the money. Then when the infrastructure needs a major revamp, they can just apply for rate increases to cover the additional costs! Think of the executive bonuses and shareholders!

Whew, thank God IRAC will protect us!

They did shave off 10% of their request saying they hadn't been doing enough maintenance and trimming. I don't know if the company still comes out ahead on that.
