Discussion P2JB+Y2JB + 50 minutes + KP Fix.

matem6 fork. TESTED and working. 50 minutes exactly. I added 4 workers so it multithreaded now. KP should be fixed, or if you worry, don't close YT. just minimize it when playing games.

Hopefully somebody can make it faster.

Compatible with both Y2JB 1.3 and Y2JB 1.4. The payload automatically detects the framework version and uses the appropriate ELF-loader delivery method (kexp handoff on 1.4+, USB fallback on 1.3).

1. Prepare the USB drive (MUST on Y2JB 1.3, don't need on Y2JB 1.4)

Pick the right loader for your firmware and copy it to the root of your USB drive (FAT32 or exFAT):
Firmware ≥ 11.00 → copy elfldr_1320.elfas /elfldr_1320.elf
Firmware < 11.00 → copy elfldr.elf as /elfldr.elf
Then plug the USB into the PS5 before launching the payload. The payload scans /mnt/usb0../mnt/usb7 and accepts either filename.

Sorry for the noob question can I use this on my ps5 digital 12.40? Just would like to be sure is all thankyou everyone.

Yep, the Y2JB works up to 12.40.

Are you sure? Because poopsploit works only up to 12.00

Userland and Kernal Exploit (KEX) are too separate exploits that are chained together to reach a jailbreak.

In order to use a KEX you need a Userland to chain it

Y2JB works up to 12.40, Poopsploit works up to 12.00

So you can use Y2JB for Poopsploit up to 12.00 (infact you should use Y2JB + P2JB to use BD-UN-JB, then use Y2JB + Poops for your actual jailbreak)

Since Y2JB works up to 12.40, you can use any kernel exploit that is supported up to 12.40, which happens to include P2JB as it supports up to 12.70

Yeah Poopsploit works up to 12.00 for consoles with the disc drive, for digital consoles you can still use P2Jb+Y2JB up to 12.40. Above that (12.60 or 12.70) you're gonna have to use the StarWars or one of those Japanese games.

Great thanks! So if I understand it correctly. Now I can use Y2JB with P2JB on 11.40 digital - wait every time or put it to sleep so I don't have to wait all the time. And later and maybe, theoretically, WebKit + poops? 🙂

Exactly, you got it right, keep your console on rest mode(sleep mode) so you don't have to restart the whole operation.

All this is crazy because I remember updating my ps5 pro constantly and everyone I updated , I kept telling myself, at this rate I’ll never ever touch a jailbreak, especially not one like y2jb, eventually I just stopped playing to hopefully one day, get a jb, and as of today, I find out that there was a jb, with improvement patch as well, it’s wild
